NEOPOX PRIMER WS primer for wet concrete

Neopox Primer WS is an epoxy primer for use on damp concrete floors (factories, laboratories, warehouses, supermarkets, garages, hospitals, schools, etc.). It can also be used to strengthen cementitious substrates. Note Neopox Primer AY should be used .

Neopox Primer WS - properties/advantages

• Two-component, solvent-free epoxy primer with very strong adhesion to cement substrates,
• Good alkali resistance,
• For indoor and outdoor use, with the appropriate topcoat,
• Can be applied to damp, porous surfaces,
• Bonds old concrete to new.

Neopox Primer WS - application

Recommended as a primer for, among others, the following resins:

• Epoxol Floor,
• Neodur Special,
• Neopox Special,
• Neopox Pool,
• Neopox SF Plus,
• Neodur Fast Track,
• Neodur Fast Track SF,

Substrate preparation and application

• The surface should be free from dust, dirt, grease and oil,
• The surface should be sanded/sandblasted and then vacuumed,
• Imperfections should be leveled to reduce material consumption and for better adhesion,
• Neopox Primer WS is applied in 1 layer with a squeegee, roller or brush,
• Before application, mix components A and B thoroughly with a mixer at low speed (2-3 minutes).

After the concrete has been laid, a minimum of 2 weeks should pass before applying the product.

Neopox Primer WS is a two-component primer (the price is for a complete set, i.e. a base with a hardener).

Primer for fresh, damp concrete

If you're planning to prime damp concrete floors or aren't sure if the substrate is dry enough, choose an epoxy primer for fresh, damp concrete . It can be used on both indoor and outdoor surfaces, such as patios. The exception is when the source of moisture is capillary action resulting from a lack of ground insulation (we have a different product ).
