NEOPOX PRIMER WS primer for wet concrete

Neopox Primer WS is an epoxy primer for use on damp concrete floors (factories, laboratories, warehouses, supermarkets, garages, hospitals, schools, etc.). Also for strengthening cement substrates. Note - if the cause of substrate moisture is capillary action from the ground, then Neopox Primer AY .

Neopox Primer WS - properties/advantages

• Two-component, solvent-free epoxy primer with very strong adhesion to cement substrates,
• Good alkali resistance,
• For internal and external use, using an appropriate topcoat,
• Can be applied to damp, porous substrates,
• Bonds old concrete with new concrete.

Neopox Primer WS - application

Recommended as a primer for the following resins:

• Epoxol Floor,
• Neodur Special,
• Neopox Special,

Substrate preparation and application

• The substrate should be free from dust, greasy and oily dirt,
• The substrate should be sanded/sanded and then vacuumed,
• Imperfections should be evened out to reduce material consumption and for better adhesion,
• Neopox Primer WS is applied in 1 layer with a squeegee, roller or brush,
• Before application, mix components A and B thoroughly with a mixer at low speed (2-3 minutes).

After placing the concrete, at least 2 weeks should pass before applying the product.

Neopox Primer WS is a two-component primer (the price is for the set, i.e. the base with the hardener).

Primer for fresh, damp concrete

If you plan to prime damp concrete floors or you are not sure whether the substrate is dry enough, choose an epoxy primer for fresh and damp concrete - it can be used on both indoor and outdoor surfaces, for example on terraces. The exception are situations when the source of moisture is capillary rising resulting from the lack of ground insulation (we have a different product ).
