Roofs covered with felt can lose their tightness over time and begin to leak. This can be caused by weathering or improper installation. Leaks are usually difficult to pinpoint because water may enter from a completely different place than where it exits. Instead of applying successive layers of felt, which may not necessarily solve the problem, we can use waterproof membranes that are easily applied using a standard paint roller or sprayer. This creates a seamless coating on the roof, without any joints through which water could leak. The coatings we offer are resistant to a wide range of temperatures and are highly flexible, allowing them to work with the roof and prevent cracking. They are also resistant to stagnant water, which is crucial if slopes are improperly designed and puddles form.

The flashings at the chimneys are also sealed.

Neoproof Polyurea – an innovative polyurea system for cold roller application.

Spray-applied polyurea is a popular system for sealing flat roofs, but it's very cumbersome. You need the right equipment, which is very expensive, and a good team. Ultimately, the price per square meter is very high. Furthermore, the coating isn't UV-resistant and requires additional protection from solar radiation.

Neoproof Polyurea series come to the rescue . They can be applied with a roller or brush. These are two-component products, but unlike traditional polyureas, their working time is much longer. Depending on the variant, it ranges from 80 to 100 minutes (at +23°C). They are based on aliphatic resins, meaning they are resistant to sunlight and do not require any additional topcoats. They last a minimum of 20 years and a maximum of 30 years!

A definite advantage of these products is the coating's resistance to early rainfall, as demonstrated in the video below. Depending on the product, rain may fall after:

Neoroof – lower the temperature on your roof!

Roofs covered with felt can become very hot, which can also cause the rooms beneath them to become warm. This directly translates into air conditioning costs, especially if the roof is equipped with a refrigerated storage unit. With the Neoroof , roof temperatures can be reduced by up to 40%! The product is certified for solar reflectivity, reflecting as much as 88% of the radiation incident on the roof. The product hardens under UV radiation, so we don't recommend using it on shaded roofs.

Neoproof PU W-40

This coating is very similar to Neoroof , but with greater resistance to potential foot traffic. It cures through evaporation, requiring no solar radiation. It maintains its flexibility over a wider temperature range, down to -40°C.

Depending on the substrate Neoroof and Neoproof PU W-40 are used with the appropriate primer:

All the above-mentioned systems can be additionally reinforced with mesh:

The use of mesh is necessary on cracks larger than 1.5 mm and on joints of various substrates, e.g. roofing felt with sheet metal flashings.
