Where to use Troken Stone, a paint imitating granite?

Troken Stone granite paint can be used both inside the apartment on the wall or floor, and outside - on the balcony or terrace. Of course, depending on the place of use, it is necessary to use an appropriate system.

Liquid granite for exterior use

Concrete is the most common ground on balconies and terraces. Due to uncertain weather conditions, it is difficult to bring the mentioned ground to dryness.  the soil on the moist ground Neopox Primer WS , which can be applied at 100% humidity is recommended . In practice, this means that it is enough to remove the standing water and you can go to the application of the ground. Another, often occurring problem (more in the case of a terrace) is capillary pull -ups . Then the solution will be the ground Neopox Primer Ay , which cuts off the approaching moisture.

After preparing the substrate, you can start applying the waterproofing layer. system solution is Neoproof Polyurea R. It is a two-component, aliphatic polyurea that can be applied both with a roller, brush, and by spraying. This product provides extremely durable waterproofing . Its great advantage is the fact that rain can fall on the coating just an hour after the work is completed . Neoproof Polyurea R is applied in two layers or in three layers reinforced with polyester non-woven fabric.

The next step is the application of Troken Stone . The product is applied using a system sprayer in one layer , the drying time is approximately 5-6 hours .

As a finishing layer, we apply 1K . They were created on the basis of aliphatic resins, thanks to which it is fully resistant to weather conditions and yellowing. The use of this colorless resin will allow us to extend the life of the decorative coating . Floortop 1K, like a waterproofing membrane, is applied in two layers. The minimum time that must pass before reuse is 7-10 days, depending on the later load on the floor. The time of full hardening from applying the last layer is 15 days. If you are interested in the matte finish of the resin floor on the terrace or balcony, use as a water -based, matte polyurethane varnish Colodur Eco Matt .

Troken Stone – a finish imitating granite for your home

In the case of interiors of apartments and houses, the situation is slightly different. We don't need a waterproofing system inside. Neopox Special epoxy resin paint can be used as a primer for Troken Stone liquid granite . The product can be applied directly to dry concrete , saving time and money on priming. Neopox Special is available in several colors. We apply this epoxy floor paint with a roller.

For interiors, Neodur Special . Its great advantage is the availability in the full range of RAL colors . In this case, it is necessary to use a primer. Epoxol Primer epoxy primer is perfect for dry, seasoned concrete .

Then, after 24-36 hours (depending on the temperature), we apply paint imitating Troken Stone granite.

To protect the floor, use Neodur Varnish . The product is available in 3 finishes : glossy, semi-matt and matte. Apply the varnish in two layers, 24-36 hours after applying Troken Stone.

Troken Stone can also be used on vertical surfaces , e.g. walls in the apartment. Then the granite imitation coating also needs to be protected with two layers of Neodur Varnish varnish.
