Concrete is the most common substrate on balconies and terraces. Due to unpredictable weather conditions, it's difficult to dry the substrate. Therefore, in such cases,  Neopox Primer WS for damp substrates , which can be applied at 100% humidity . In practice, this means that simply removing standing water is enough to proceed with the primer application. Another common problem (more common on terraces) is capillary action , Neopox Primer AY is the solution .

Once the substrate is prepared, you can begin applying the waterproofing layer. The recommended system solution is Neoproof Polyurea R. This two-component, aliphatic polyurea can be applied by roller, brush, or spray. This product provides extremely durable waterproofing . Its great advantage is that rain can fall on the coating within an hour of completion . Neoproof Polyurea R is applied in two or three layers reinforced with polyester fleece.

The next step is to apply Troken Stone . The product is applied using Troken Stone unit one coat . Drying time is approximately 5-6 hours .

Floortop 1K polyurethane varnish . Based on aliphatic resins, it is fully resistant to weathering and yellowing. Using this colorless resin will extend the life of the decorative coating . Floortop 1K, like a waterproofing membrane, is applied in two layers. The minimum time before reuse is 7-10 days, depending on the subsequent load on the floor. Full curing time after applying the last layer is 15 days. If you are interested in a matte finish for your resin floor on a terrace or balcony , use the water-based, matte polyurethane varnish Colodur ECO Matt .
