PRIMER RO5401 impregnating primer
RO5401 impregnating primer is a solvent-free primer for porous mineral substrates. Provides excellent grip. Designed to be applied with a brush or roller.
RO5401 Impregnating primer - properties:
- Contains no solvents
- Can be applied to slightly damp substrates
- Perfect primer for epoxy or polyurethane systems
- 100% solids content
The primer can be used on mineral substrates under RO5500 epoxy paint.
Substrate preparation:
New concrete should be seasoned and dried for at least 30 days before coating is applied. Remove grease, oil and other surface contamination with alkali solutions or high-pressure steam using appropriate detergents (e.g. Sulfanol A ). Large surface damage should preferably be prepared by abrasive blasting or flame cleaning. Small defects in the substrate can be filled with Epoxol Putty .
