TELKYD S 220 polyvinyl primer enamel
Telkyd S 220 is an industrial polyvinyl primer. Does not require priming - contains anti-corrosion pigments (zinc phosphate). The paint is intended for coatings of light non-ferrous metals and iron. The paint can be used as a primer with a minimum dry coating thickness of 100 μm. It is characterized by quick drying. Polyvinyl paints are flexible, making them perfect for metal facades and roofs covered with sheet metal (also coated). They work together with the substrate during temperature changes and surface heating.
Telkyd S 220 - available packaging, colors
Telkyd S 220 is available in a matt version, in 2.36 kg and 10 kg packages. The paint is available in the full RAL color palette. You can also check the RAL color sample here . RAL9006 and RAL9007 are metallic colors (light and dark aluminum). The color is each time dyed specifically to the customer's order, therefore we do not send this product on delivery. When summarizing the order, you can pay via PayU or traditional transfer.

Substrate preparation
- for C2 and C3 corrosive environments, the substrate must be blast cleaned to Sa 2 ½
- for a C1 corrosive environment, the substrate must be clean, dry and free from grease and rust, mechanically cleaned to St 2 - St 3.
- on previously painted surfaces, remove old coatings, clean and degrease (e.g. with an aqueous solution of Emulsol RN-1 ).
- Neodur Metalforce rust remover 24 hours before painting .
Painting
- Apply layers of Telkyd S 220 paint so that the dry film thickness is not less than 100 μm. If necessary, apply additional layers after 24 hours. drying the previous layer or the so-called wet-on-wet system after evaporation of the diluents in individual layers (after 30 minutes, but no later than 2 hours).
We recommend using a systemic thinner .
