NEOTEX ANTISKID M anti-slip additive for resins

Neotex Antiskid M is a powdery, anti-slip polyethylene additive for floor coating systems. It is characterized by high mechanical strength and good chemical resistance. Its addition provides the coating with a rough finish and anti-slip properties. Neotex Antiskid M is compatible with any floor coating system. Its theoretical consumption is very low.

Neotex Antiskid M anti-slip additive - use:

• industrial floors, halls, warehouses, vehicle service stations, car workshops, parking lots, garages
• offices, shops, shopping malls, residential and service facilities
• swimming pools, fountains, boats
• indoor metal surfaces

Neotex Antiskid M - properties:

• excellent resistance to water (including seawater), alkalis, petroleum derivatives, unfavorable weather conditions and industrial atmosphere,
• good resistance to solvents and diluted acids,
• compatibility with any floor coating system (solvent-based, solvent-free and water-based, for indoor and outdoor use),
• very low theoretical consumption - 1.5-2.5% of the weight of the finished resin (e.g. 15-25 g of Neotex Antiskid M additive is added to 1 kg of the finished resin),
• appearance - milky (semi-transparent white),
• particle size 250-300 μm,
• provides the coating with a rough finish and anti-slip properties.

Neotex Antiskid M - application:

Neotex Antiskid M should be added to the final layer of the system in the recommended ratio to the ready-to-apply mixture. Then, mix thoroughly and apply according to the product's technical data sheet (using a roller or brush). Do not apply the additive wet onto the coating, as is the case with quartz sand, and do not add it to self-leveling flooring systems (e.g., Epoxol Floor )!

• Neopox Special (1st layer) + Neopox Specia l (2nd layer with the addition of Neotex Antiskid M)
• Epoxol Primer (primer) + Neodur Special (1st layer) + Neodur Special (2nd layer with the addition of Neotex Antiskid M)
• Neodur Varnish PR (primer) + Neodur Varnish (1st layer) + Neodur Varnish (2nd layer with the addition of Neotex Antiskid M)

To achieve a similar anti-slip finish, you can also wet-sprinkle the floor with dried quartz sand . Wet-sprinkle the sand onto the first layer of the system so that it blends into the coating. Then, vacuum up any loose particles and apply a second layer.
