Neopox SF PLUS is a two-component product based on selected resins and solvent-free hardeners. It exhibits excellent abrasion and yellowing resistance, as well as exceptional mechanical and chemical resistance (to alkalis, diluted acids, water, oils, and solvents; see the chemical resistance table in the product data sheet). The coating's high mechanical resistance results from the ability to apply the epoxy in thick layers – a single layer can reach a dry thickness of up to 190 microns when applied by roller.
Solvent-free epoxy flooring Neopox SF PLUS application:
Solvent-free epoxy flooring Neopox SF PLUS properties:
Systemic primers:
DRY, POROUS CONCRETE: application of Epoxol Primer, usually in one layer, diluted with Neotex 1021 in the amount of 10-15% or Epoxol Primer SF-P (solvent-free epoxy primer).
FRESH OR DAMP CONCRETE: Neopox Primer WS epoxy primer . The concrete must be at least 2 weeks old. Causes of damp substrate: rainfall, frequent cleaning, and inability to completely dry the substrate.
CONCRETE RISING MOISTURE BY CAPILLARY FROM THE GROUND/INCORRECTLY EXECUTED INSULATION : Neopox Primer AY.
ANHYDRIT, SCREED, OTHER HIGHLY ABSORBENT FLOORING SCREEDS: Use Epoxol Primer diluted 10-15% with Neotex 1021 . Anhydrite or screed are poor quality substrates with high absorption capacity, therefore the primer consumption may be higher than indicated in the technical data sheet.
TILES, GLOSS POLISHED CONCRETE: in the case of non-absorbent substrates, use the Super Spoiwo RO3333 .
When using epoxy primers, the concrete should have a uniform sheen after proper priming. If dull spots appear, this indicates the substrate is highly absorbent and priming should be repeated.
Conditions during application of Neopox SF Plus:
Are you looking for maximum resistance to mechanical and chemical factors in your floor? Solvent-free epoxy paint , available from our range, is perfect for this purpose. Available in two colors – light and dark gray – these products create a durable, high-gloss coating that's easy to keep clean. Find out what sets these products apart and why we recommend them for the most demanding projects!
The paint's lack of solvents means no irritating odors are released during application. The coating is easily applied with a roller, and for a non-slip effect, simply sprinkle the first, still-wet coat with sand.
This low-odor resin is suitable for applications where resistance to external factors is crucial. It can be used in production halls, warehouses, garages, and parking lots, as well as in factories, slaughterhouses, and educational and medical facilities. Want to learn more?
