TELKYD T 300 alkyd industrial enamel
Telkyd T 300 is a single-component alkyd topcoat. It is available in matte, semi-matte, and gloss finishes. It creates highly opaque, aesthetically pleasing coatings on painted surfaces. It is used for topcoating wood, metal, concrete, and mineral plasters, both indoors and outdoors. It offers excellent weather resistance and dries quickly.
Telkyd T 300 - available packaging, colors
Telkyd T 300 is available in matte (10 kg pack), semi-matte (10 kg pack), or glossy (2.5 kg pack). We also offer a glossy version in a 10.5 kg pack, available under the trade name Telkyd T 330. Sample prices and available colors are visible on the website. If you require a different color from the RAL palette, please contact us at biuro@trokentech.pl and we will quote for you. Check the RAL color chart . RAL9006 and RAL9007 are metallic colors (light and dark aluminum). The color is custom-colored to each customer's order, so we do not ship this product cash on delivery. Please choose PayU or prepayment by bank transfer.
Telkyd T 300 - application examples
Outdoor and indoor areas with moderate corrosion (industrial areas, steel structures, containers, pipes, workshops, laundries, basements), metal and steel structures and halls, metal elements, metal furniture, doors, door frames, metal and concrete fences, paneling, metal fittings, industrial trolleys and facilities, machine housings, agricultural and mining machines.

Substrate preparation
- for C2 and C3 corrosive environments, the substrate must be blast cleaned to Sa 2 ½
- for a C1 corrosive environment, the substrate must be clean, dry and free from grease and rust, mechanically cleaned to St 2 - St 3.
- on previously painted surfaces, remove old coatings, clean and degrease (e.g. with an aqueous solution of Emulsol RN-1 ).
- Neodur Metalforce rust remover 24 hours before painting .
Painting
Example of a typical painting system based on Telkyd T 300 Telkyd T 330 topcoat:
- 1-2 layers of Telkyd P 100S to a dry film thickness of at least 40-80 μm. Allow the layer to dry for 24 hours. Drying on metal objects can be accelerated by increasing the temperature to 80°C.
- 2 layers of Telkyd T 300 enamel, optimal thickness of one layer 35 to 40 μm, dry each layer for 24 hours
The paint can also be applied wet-on-wet:
- Apply a coat of Telkyd P 100S , wait approximately 20-30 minutes for the solvents to evaporate, after which the topcoat can be applied. Apply the next coat after approximately 30 minutes, up to a maximum of 2 hours. After this time, wait until 24 hours have passed since painting.
We recommend using a systemic thinner .
