EKO-LOWICYN water-based roof paint

eko-Lowicyn is an ecological, environmentally and user-friendly paint intended for protective and decorative painting of galvanized surfaces used outdoors and indoors, as well as for steel, aluminum, concrete, plaster, plasterboard, wood and PVC surfaces.

Eco-Lowicyn paint can also be used:

• for painting steel, aluminum, plaster, concrete, PVC after appropriate priming
• for renovating surfaces previously painted with Lowicin brand paints or others, as well as sheets coated with continuous acrylic and polyester polymer products (including sheets from Huta FLORIAN).

The shell is:

• smooth,
• semi-matte,
• covering,
• well adhesive,
• flexible,
• quick-drying,
• with long-lasting colors,
• highly resistant to changing atmospheric factors (water, UV).

The paint is also available in a solvent-based version: Lowicin (matt finish) and Lowicin-Sx (gloss finish).

Preparing the surface for painting

Surfaces to be painted should be clean and dry, free of dust, oil, and other contaminants. We recommend washing the surface with an aqueous solution of Emulsol RN-1 . The paint should be applied twice, according to the following recommendations:
galvanized steel surfaces of any adhering dirt before painting. Remove zinc corrosion products (white coating) by wiping the surface with an abrasive cloth soaked in 5% ammonia. Then degrease (wash) the surface with an aqueous solution of Emulsol RN-1 and rinse with clean water. After drying, paint directly with eko-Lowicyn paint.
New galvanized surfaces can also be painted directly with eko-Lowicyn paint, but it is better if they are air-cured (approx. 1 year) before painting.
After cleaning and degreasing, paint directly with eko-Lowicyn paint
on aluminum and PVC surfaces Matte smooth, glossy surfaces before painting. wood and wood-based materials with eko-Lowicyn paint diluted with water – approximately 5% by volume.
Degrease steel substrates Emulsol RN-1 , clean them of corrosion products (according to the recommendations in the primer catalog data sheet) and prime them with Metakor Lowikor-2
polyvinyl anti-rust primer. mineral substrates (plaster, concrete, plasterboard, etc.) of dust and substances that may impair adhesion. Before painting, impregnate porous and absorbent surfaces with eko-Lowicyn paint diluted with tap water (approx. 5% by volume).

Renovation painting

Eco-Lowicyn paint can be used on surfaces previously painted with paints from the Lowicin family, as well as on sheet metal coated continuously with acrylic and polyester polymer products (including sheet metal from Huta Florian). It can also be used on surfaces coated with paints other than those mentioned above, provided the old coating has good adhesion to the substrate. If corrosion occurs on galvanized steel surfaces, clean the surface manually or mechanically. Prime (touch up) any areas without zinc coating with Metakor Lowikor-2 anti-rust polyvinyl primer, Tixokor-G3 zinc-rich paint , which restores the integrity of the zinc layer.
