TrokenPox Accelerator is an additive that accelerates the curing and working time of epoxy resins, significantly shortening the entire process of working with resin-based products. Thanks to its carefully selected composition, it shortens the work by up to several days, which translates directly into financial benefits and shorter project times. It can be used at low temperatures, where it also works very effectively. It is recommended only as an accelerating additive for epoxy primers , as it may cause brittleness or loss of gloss in the topcoat resin.

Application

• Low temperatures : Effective in low temperature conditions where standard epoxy resins cure slower. Allows epoxy resin surfaces to pre-cure at +16°C in just 6 hours!

Preparation and application

• Dosage : The recommended amount of additive is a specific percentage of the epoxy resin weight. Measure 10% by weight of component B, i.e. the hardener, into the finished epoxy resin mixture (base and hardener).
• Mixing : TrokenPox Accelerator should be thoroughly mixed with the resin after adding the hardener to ensure a homogeneous mixture. For this purpose, it is recommended to mix the whole thing for about 2-3 minutes with a low-speed mixer.
• Application : After adding the hardener, the mixture should be applied immediately according to the recommendations for the specific epoxy system. It's worth remembering that adding TrokenPox Accelerator not only speeds up the resin curing process but also shortens the mixture's shelf life. Therefore, all prepared material should be used as quickly as possible.
