°CIQ thermo-intelligent latex paint is an innovative, high-quality coating with thermal insulating properties. The paint utilizes a modern system of microspheres filled with a neutral gas, giving it a very high thermal reflectivity. In winter, it helps retain heat indoors, and in summer, it reflects heat penetrating through walls from the outside. It also reduces the impact of thermal bridges and limits the growth of fungi and mold.
The coating is exceptionally durable and resistant to wet cleaning (class 2 scrubbability). The microsphere system affects not only the reflection of thermal radiation but also the elasticity of the coating, which is capable of masking capillary cracks.
The paint is available in a wide range of RAL colors. Each color is tinted to the customer's specifications, so we do not ship cash on delivery. The microspheres used in the thermal insulation paint are small, flexible, polymer spheres filled with an inert gas. This allows the coating to create a barrier against thermal radiation reflected from the surface. A consequence of the thermal insulation properties is its natural resistance to the growth of fungi and molds, even though the paint contains no additional biocides. This is particularly important on gable walls or north-facing walls. The particles are small enough not to affect the final appearance of the coating, which is smooth.
This paint can be used on a variety of building surfaces, including plasters, plasterboards, porous mineral surfaces, flexible pipe coatings, and walls and ceilings coated with other wall paints. Absorbent mineral surfaces should be primed with Sil-Grunt . The surface must be clean, dry, degreased, and free of loose, old coatings. Fresh plaster should be allowed to cure for 3-4 weeks.
Before painting, mix the paint thoroughly using a low-speed mixer or by hand, ensuring the mixer reaches the bottom of the mixed paint container. During transport or when tinting in a mixer, paint tends to settle on the container lid. When opening, be careful not to allow any dried particles to settle into the paint inside the container.
At least two coats of paint should be applied, at least two hours apart from the previous coat. °CIQ thermal insulation paint is a water-based product that can be applied with standard rollers and brushes for emulsion paints, and tools can be washed with water. Painting should be performed in rooms where the temperature of the painted surfaces and the air is between 10 ° C and 25 ° C, and air humidity does not exceed 80%. The coating reaches its full performance after 14 days of application, and should not be washed during this time.
