Thermo-intelligent latex paint °CIQ is an innovative, high-quality coating with thermal insulation properties. The paint uses a modern system of microspheres filled with neutral gas. Thanks to this, it has a very high ability to reflect thermal radiation. In winter, it helps retain heat in the room, and in summer, it reflects the heat penetrating through the walls from the outside. Additionally, it eliminates the impact of thermal bridges and limits the growth of fungi and mold.
The coating is exceptionally durable and resistant to wet cleaning (second class of scrubbability). The microsphere system affects not only the reflection of thermal radiation, but also the flexibility of the coating, which is able to mask capillary cracks.
The paint is available in many colors from the RAL palette. The colors are always dyed according to the customer's order, which is why we do not send them on delivery. The microspheres used in the thermal insulation paint are small, flexible polymer balls that are filled with an inert gas. Thanks to this, the coating creates a kind of barrier to thermal radiation that is reflected from the surface. A derivative of the thermal insulation properties is the natural resistance to the formation of fungi and mold on the coating, even though the paint does not contain any additional biocides. This is especially important on gable walls or walls facing north. The particles are so small that they do not affect the final appearance of the coating, which is smooth.
The paint can be used to paint a variety of construction substrates - plasters, plasters, plasterboards, porous mineral surfaces, flexible pipe coatings, walls and ceilings covered with other wall paints. Absorbent mineral surfaces should be primed with Sil-Grunt . The surface must be clean, dry, degreased, without loose, old coatings. Fresh plasters should be seasoned for 3-4 weeks.
Before painting, mix the paint thoroughly using a slow-speed mixer or manually so that the mixer reaches the bottom of the mixed paint package. During transportation or when dyeing in a mixer, the paint tends to settle on the packaging lid. When opening, make sure that the dried fragments that have settled do not get into the paint in the packaging.
At least two coats of paint should be applied, at least 2 hours apart from the previous painting. °CIQ thermal insulating paint is a water-soluble product that can be applied with typical rollers and brushes for emulsion paints, and the tools can be washed with water. Painting should take place in rooms where the temperature of the painted surfaces and air is between 10 o C and 25 o C, and the air humidity does not exceed 80%. The coating achieves its full parameters 14 days after application and should not be washed during this time. The presented colors may differ from the actual color, it depends on the monitor settings. It is best to compare the color with a paper RAL sample.
