TELPUR S250 polyurethane semi-matt enamel

Telpur S250 is a polyurethane industrial enamel with a semi-matt finish. It is used as a topcoat for anti-corrosion paint systems, particularly those used outdoors. According to European Technical Approval ETA-20/0957, Telpur S250 can be used as a topcoat in a fire protection system for steel structures, in conjunction with Flame Stal.

Telpur S250 is available in a semi-matte finish (11 kg pack). The price and package size are for the complete set (base + hardener). Sample prices and available colors are visible on the website. RAL9006 and RAL9007 are metallic colors (light and dark aluminum). The color is custom-tinted to each customer's order, so we do not ship this product cash on delivery. Payment can be made via PayU or by traditional bank transfer at checkout.

Telpur S250 - properties and applications

Topcoat paint is used for painting surfaces that require high performance in harsh weather conditions and various environments. The coating is resistant to weathering, yellowing, and chalking. It is colorfast. It is also resistant to various chemicals and moisture.

Can be used outdoors and indoors, in areas with medium to high corrosive load, such as chemical plants, industrial zones, machine coatings, pipes, steel structures, agricultural machinery.

The paint is a two-component product. The components – base and hardener – should be mixed together in the correct proportions before painting. Hardening ratio: Telpur S250 base – 10 parts by weight: Telhard PUR hardener – 1 part by weight. The paint and hardener mixture should be used within 3 hours (20°C)

Preparation of the substrate

• For C2, C3 and C4 corrosive environments the substrate must be blast cleaned to Sa 2 ½.
• For a C1 corrosive environment, the substrate must be clean, dry and free of grease and rust, mechanically cleaned to St 2 - St 3.
• Galvanized surfaces should be cleaned with water and ammonia or water and detergent.
• Previously painted surfaces should be removed from old coatings, cleaned and degreased.
• For cleaning the substrate, we recommend an aqueous solution of Emulsol RN-1.
• If there are any corrosion spots on the surface, they can be protected with Neodur Metalforce rust remover 24 hours before painting .

Painting

Example system built with Telpur S250 topcoat:

• Apply 1-2 layers of Telpox PM 150 epoxy iron mica primer or Telpox P 100 primer . Use the product in accordance with its technical data sheet.
• Apply 2-3 coats of Telpur S 250 topcoat, leaving a 24-hour (20°C) interval between coats.
