Why is it worth using liquid roofing membranes over felt instead of another layer of felt?
The most important properties of liquid roof membranes (liquid rubber on the roof)
provide reliable protection of the roof against leaks,
lower the temperature of the roof and attic,
create seamless coatings that are impermeable to water and moisture,
they are easy to apply, they can be applied with a roller, brush or airless spray,
they are characterized by high flexibility (the membrane works with the substrate).
We will help you choose the right waterproofing system that will meet your expectations. Our liquid roofing membranes will pass the test regardless of whether you need to protect a large roof with an area of over 1,000 m2 or the roof of a small single-family house. More information about the mentioned membranes and their technical data sheets can be found on the pages of individual products.
Durability of liquid roofing membranes and coatings
The roofing membranes we offer for roof waterproofing allow you to create a highly resistant and durable surface. Liquid roofing membranes (liquid rubber for the roof) create a smooth and uniform coating, thanks to which they properly seal and prevent the ingress of water and moisture.
The liquid waterproofing membranes in our offer are based on resins, among others. polyurethane and polyurea. Both polyurethane and polyurea membranes are characterized by high mechanical resistance, resistance to weather conditions and resistance to UV radiation. Due to their properties, resins are often used in industry to protect roofs, but also floor surfaces, e.g. in warehouses.
Membranes for every type of roof
Roof membranes available in our offer can be applied to various types of surfaces. We can apply them to substrates such as roofing felt, shingles, concrete, sheet metal, PVC membrane and PUR foam. They are perfect for flat and sloping roofs. Liquid roofing membranes are widely used in modern construction and during the renovation of old roof coatings. Before application, however, we must properly prepare the substrate - it must first be cleaned and, in some cases, also primed.
What can I use instead of roofing felt for a flat roof?
Traditional roofing felt is one of the most popular ways to cover a flat roof. Liquid roofing membranes are an excellent alternative to traditional roofing felt, especially when it comes to flat roofs. They are more durable, easier to apply and provide excellent protection against weather conditions. When choosing a roof material, it is worth considering modern solutions that can contribute to extending the life of the roof and increasing its resistance to external factors.
It is worth remembering that flat roofs are exposed to water stagnation, which collects on the surface of the felt and can cause leaks and leaks in the roof. The uniform, smooth surface of liquid roofing membranes seals the roof and ensures resistance to water stagnation - that is why membranes are one of the most effective methods of protecting roofs.
You can use liquid waterproofing membranes on concrete, metal, and also on old and damaged roofing felt - without having to remove it.
Roof prepared for photovoltaics
Are you planning to install a photovoltaic system on your roof? Remember that the roof should be properly prepared before installing such a system. If you have a roof covered with felt, nothing stops you from taking proper care of its surface! With the help of roofing membranes, you will not only easily seal your roof, but also take care of its aesthetic appearance and, most importantly, you will receive a coating that reflects UV rays and light! Roofs made of tar paper heat up quickly when exposed to strong light, which means that photovoltaics on an improperly prepared roof do not achieve their maximum efficiency.
Thanks to the membranes, you will create a bright coating that will increase the efficiency of the installed photovoltaic system and prevent the house from heating up inside.
Liquid waterproofing membranes can be classified according to the polymers used in their production. This has a direct impact on their properties. All of the types of roof membranes listed below provide effective protection against moisture. They are fully resistant to standing water and UV radiation. Our membranes are characterized by extraordinary flexibility and mechanical resistance.
Polyurea membranes
Neoproof Polyurea R is an extremely durable liquid polyurea waterproofing membrane. Mainly used on roofs covered with felt. Easy to apply, it can be applied to roofing felt without priming. Two-component product. The coating becomes resistant to rain just 1 hour after application.
The minimum shelf life is 20 years.
Neoproof Polyurea C1 is the second of our two-component polyurea roof waterproofing membranes. It is mainly used on PUR foam, concrete and sheet metal. Possible application in one (thick) layer - then the product is applied using hydrodynamic spray. Rain may fall on the coating 2 hours after application.
The minimum shelf life is 20 years.
Polyurethane membranes
Neoproof PU W-40 is our one-component liquid roofing membrane. Created on the basis of polyurethane resin. Thanks to its composition, the product is user- and environment-friendly. Before application, the substrate should be primed with Revinex . Application by brush, roller or airless spray.
The minimum shelf life is 11 years.
Acrylic membranes
Neoroof is our hybrid liquid membrane for sealing roofs. One-component and water-soluble product. The white color version is certified to reflect sunlight (it reflects as much as 88%, which allows you to reduce the roof temperature by 40%).
The minimum shelf life is 10 years.

One-component preparation for pitched roofs. It creates a flexible, waterproof coating and ensures exceptional durability and resistance, among others. to UV radiation.
Liquid roofing membranes are coatings that can be applied with a brush, roller or airless spray. They create a uniform, continuous coating without any joints (unlike, for example, roofing felt). This creates a tight "bathtub" and water has no way to get under the coating. It is particularly important that sensitive places such as chimneys, skylights and places where air conditioners are installed are also secured. Liquid membranes are very flexible and work together with the roof.
Roof membrane or roofing felt?
keyboard_arrow_downkeyboard_arrow_up
Liquid roofing membranes are a solution with much better durability than traditional bituminous felt. Over time, the bitumen contained in the roofing felt loses its elasticity under the influence of UV radiation, and characteristic "spiders" begin to form on the felt. The first leaks appear, especially in chimneys and skylights. Good quality liquid membranes retain their flexibility and waterproofness for over 25 years. Additionally, when laying thermal felt, it is necessary to work with an open flame. We can apply liquid membranes using traditional painting tools or spraying. We can also choose ecological water-based products that do not emit fumes during application.
What substrates can the product be applied to?

A great advantage of liquid membranes is the fact that they can be placed on many different and common construction substrates: roofing felt, PUR foam, steel and non-ferrous metals, concrete, old elastomeric coatings and many others. Thanks to this, regardless of the surface, we will create a uniform, continuous and tight coating.
Liquid membrane for roofing felt - can they be combined?
