It is important that the coating or paint used for a sheet metal, metal or galvanized roof is flexible, so that it will be able to transfer the loads. Another important issue is the appropriate thickness of the coating on the roof - if the layer is too thin, it will have nothing to stretch from and will crack, leading to the coating peeling.
