Revinex® Flex System

Revinex® Flex System is an innovative, two-component waterproofing solution based on polymer-modified cement and technologically advanced hardeners. Designed for professionals in the waterproofing and flooring systems industry, the system provides maximum flexibility in adapting its technical properties to individual project requirements.

Thanks to its universal base (component A) and the ability to select the appropriate hardener (component B) – Revinex® Flex ES or Revinex® Flex U360 – the system offers a wide range of applications. It is suitable for both typical applications in wet rooms and demanding outdoor environments exposed to intense sunlight and changing weather conditions.

Revinex® Flex System – Variants and Applications

The system is based on component A (Revinex® Flex), which, depending on the application, is combined with various B components or water, creating a tailored mixture with specific properties.

• Revinex® Flex + Water - A single-component, economical, and easy-to-apply waterproofing solution. Ideal for protecting basements, foundation walls, shafts, and exterior walls from submersion.
• Revinex® Flex + Revinex® Flex U360 - A flexible waterproofing system, ideal for terraces, balconies, swimming pools, and wet areas (bathrooms, kitchens, etc.). It works perfectly as a protective layer before installing ceramic tiles.
• Revinex® Flex + Revinex® Flex ES – A flexible and UV-resistant waterproofing system for outdoor use. Designed for terraces and balconies (including under tiles), as well as exposed surfaces such as flat roofs and facades.
• Revinex® Flex + Revinex® Flex FP – The system is distinguished by its certified resistance to hydrostatic pressure – 7 bar, in accordance with DIN 1048-5 and EN 12390-8. The ideal waterproofing solution for basements, water tanks, and other structures exposed to constant contact with water.

Revinex® Flex System Application:

1. Substrate preparation: The surface should be sound, clean, and free of dust, grease, loose particles, and process moisture. For absorbent substrates, priming with a primer such as Revinex® is recommended.
2. Preparation of the mixture: The ingredients should be combined in appropriate proportions, in accordance with the technical data sheet guidelines, mixing until a homogeneous, smooth and easy to apply mass, free of lumps, is obtained.
3. Application: The product can be applied with a brush or smooth trowel, starting from the corners and then covering the entire surface. Revinex® Flex System should be applied in a minimum of two layers, in a crisscross pattern, with appropriate spacing. If necessary, a suitable reinforcing mesh can be used to reinforce the substrate – Gavazzi® 0059-Α.
4. Drying and Curing Time: The system's drying time can be 8 to 10 hours depending on conditions. Low temperatures and high humidity will extend this time, while high temperatures and low humidity will shorten it.
