BIELLUX economical latex paint

Biellux is an economical, water-based latex paint with increased coverage, designed for decorative painting of walls and ceilings inside residential spaces, offices, and public buildings. The paint comes standard in white, but upon request, we can produce a custom color based on the RAL or NCS palette. Please contact us for a color quote.

Biellux latex paint - properties

• It provides a homogeneous, very well-covering, matt, snow-white coating that is permeable to vapors and gases ("breathing" of the walls),
• Class 4 of scrub resistance,
• It can be used on a variety of building materials, such as mineral and polymer plasters (e.g. acrylic), concrete, bricks, gypsum, and after appropriate priming - wood and wood-based materials, paper wallpapers, including the so-called wood-grained wallpaper, providing smooth, flexible coatings,
• It has a Hygiene Certificate of the National Institute of Public Health - National Institute of Hygiene (intended for use in construction for painting walls and ceilings inside residential, public, health service, warehouse and production premises, including the food industry),
• Dirty coatings can be cleaned by lightly wiping with a damp cloth or with water and mild detergents.

Surface preparation and application

• Biellux is a ready-to-use paint. Only if it thickens can you add up to 5% water. Do not add chalk, lime, or dry adhesive paints under any circumstances
• The surface to be painted should be thoroughly cleaned, loose paint flakes removed, degreased and dried,
• Old layers of glue and lime paints must be removed without fail,
• Fresh cement-lime plasters can be painted only 3-4 weeks after application,
• Smooth surfaces should be matted with sandpaper,
• Fill any gaps and cracks with Biel-Putz or Filler , larger gaps with plaster or cement mortar,
• Raw, dusty, inconsistent or excessively water-absorbing substrates should be primed with Sil-Grunt .

For latex paints with higher scrub resistance, we offer Latex Mat Kitchen Bathroom and Latex Ceramic Paint . These latex paints have scrub resistance classes 1 and 2.
