Noxyde Antistatic antistatic paint for metal is intended for external and internal applications. Creates continuous, anti-corrosion and waterproof rubber-like coatings that can be applied directly to rusty metal substrates or well-adhering old paint coatings. The paint can be applied to galvanized steel that has been aged for at least 6 months. The paint has all the properties of its basic version Noxyde , but has been enriched with an antistatic additive, so it can be used in explosion-hazard zones.
The paint does not require a separate primer. Free from lead, chromate, tar and bituminous materials. Possibility of applying thick coatings with good edge coverage. Excellent adhesion to most substrates.
It can be used for anti-corrosion protection of objects on the surface in places classified as potentially explosive atmospheres and in underground mine workings at risk of methane and/or coal dust explosion, including: shaft structures, casing elements and infrastructure facilities (pipes), mining machines and devices. Use in underground workings of mining plants on the basis of a certificate authorizing the product to be marked with the B safety mark, issued by the Certification Body of the Central Mining Institute in Katowice, certificate number: B/1686/2007.
The coating should be at least 300µm dry in each place, after applying two layers. This translates into a consumption of 0.8 kg/m 2 in full coverage.
