Neopox Primer BM

Neopox Primer BM is a specially formulated epoxy primer for all bituminous substrates, especially bituminous felts with or without grit.
It provides an excellent bonding agent for solvent-based waterproofing membranes such as Neoroof Polyurea R and Neoroof Polyurea C1 .

• Bituminous membranes, bituminous felts with or without grit
• Concrete roofs, cement slabs, cement screeds
• Metal substrates

Advantages of waterproofing underlayment

• Excellent adhesion to slippery bituminous substrates
• Prevents asphalt migration, delays aging of the felt
• Flexible and impermeable to water
• Easy to apply

Preparation of the roof substrate

The substrate should be dry (humidity <4%), stable and well insulated against possible rising damp
The surface should be free of dust, dirt, grease and oily substances.
For degreasing the substrate, we recommend the alkaline Sulfanol A. The product has strong wetting properties and a high ability to break down fatty contaminants.
In the case of application on smooth bituminous membranes without mineral topping, it is important to first remove the PE (polyethylene) coating with which the membrane may be covered.

App

Mix components A and B in the appropriate proportion by weight for 3 to 5 minutes with a low-speed mechanical mixer until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Then apply in a single layer using a roller or brush.
