Neopox Primer BM

Neopox Primer BM is a specially created epoxy primer for all bituminous substrates, especially bituminous felt with or without sprinkles.
It is an excellent bonding bridge for solvent-based waterproofing membranes such as Neoroof Polyurea R and Neoroof Polyurea C1 .

Application of Neopox Primer BM

• Bituminous membranes, bitumen felts with or without sprinkles
• Concrete roofs, cement board roofs, cement screeds
• Metal substrates

Advantages of waterproofing primer

• Excellent adhesion to slippery bituminous surfaces
• Prevents asphalt migration, delays the aging of the felt
• Flexible and impermeable to water
• Easy to apply

Preparation of the roof substrate

• The substrate should be dry (humidity <4%), stable and well insulated against possible rising damp
• The substrate should be free from dust, dirt, greasy and oily substances.
• Sulfanol A to degrease the substrate . The product has strong wetting properties and a high ability to decompose fatty impurities.
• In case of application on smooth bituminous roofing felt without mineral sprinkles, it is important to first remove the PE (polyethylene) coating with which the felt can be covered.

App

Mix components A and B in the appropriate proportion by weight for 3 to 5 minutes with a low-speed mechanical mixer until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Then apply in one layer with a roller or brush.
