LATEX LX AG latex paint with silver ions

Latex LX Ag is a water-based latex paint intended for painting walls and ceilings in rooms that are particularly exposed to dirt and therefore often require cleaning, e.g. in public and catering facilities, but also for rooms exposed to frequent contact with moisture, such as bathrooms, swimming pools, kitchens, and for use in places where exceptional cleanliness, hygiene and protection are required, e.g. in hospitals and other healthcare facilities, in the food and pharmaceutical industries, etc. The paint contains silver nanoparticles, which gives it bactericidal and fungicidal properties.

Bactericidal paints with silver ions

• The coatings are highly resistant to scrubbing and abrasion, as well as cleaning with standard disinfectants and detergents,
• Properly selected ingredients make the applied coatings highly resistant to all types of microorganism growth (colonies of bacteria and fungi),
• It retains its protective properties for many years of use,
• The paint contains silver nanoparticles, which give the product additional bactericidal and fungicidal properties,
• It provides a waterproof, satin, very good covering, and highly durable coating on various building materials, such as mineral plasters (gypsum, cement, cement-lime, silicate) and polymer plasters (e.g. acrylic), bricks, concrete, wood-based materials, plasterboards, fiberglass and paper wallpapers, including the so-called wood-grained wallpaper
• It can also be used for painting facades and other outdoor surfaces exposed to the damaging effects of atmospheric factors,
• It has a Hygiene Certificate of the National Institute of Public Health-National Institute of Hygiene (intended for use in construction for painting walls and ceilings inside residential, public, health service, warehouse and production premises, including the food industry).

Latex LX - substrate preparation

• The surface to be painted should be thoroughly cleaned, loose paint flakes removed, degreased,
• Old layers of adhesive and lime paint must be removed immediately. Fresh cement-lime plaster can be painted no sooner than 3-4 weeks after application
• Smooth surfaces should be matted with sandpaper,
• Fill any gaps and cracks with Biel-Putz or Filler , larger gaps inside with plaster, outside with cement mortar,
• Raw, dusty, inconsistent or excessively water-absorbing substrates should be primed with Sil-Grunt .
