Kryptanate 100 LV polyaspartic flooring resin

Kryptanate 100 LV is a polyaspartic resin that falls between standard polyurea-based systems and polyurethane-based systems. This is due to the extended working time of the finished product, making it suitable for manual application. At the same time, it maintains a short curing time, significantly shorter than traditional polyurethane-based products. It is a transparent resin that can be used to seal resin coatings containing Troken Stone or decorative flakes .

Kryptanate 100 LV – properties:

Excellent resistance: Kryptanate 100 LV has excellent resistance to many chemicals, including traditional fuels, aviation fuel, and concentrated alkalis. It can therefore be used in areas where such conditions exist, such as garages. A full list of resistances can be found in the product's technical data sheet. Additionally, the product is highly resistant to weather and temperature conditions, making it suitable for use in refrigerated storage facilities.

Application speed: touch-dry in just 1 hour at 25 ^° C! Additionally, up to 200 g/m² can be applied ⁱⁿ a single layer, significantly shortening the application process.

UV resistance: the aliphatic structure of the resin makes it resistant to UV rays and sunlight, so it does not turn yellow.

High adhesion: Kryptanate 100 LV bonds well to concrete. Additionally, the product exhibits corrosion-inhibiting properties on metal surfaces.

Cleanliness: easy to keep clean with traditional water washing.

Substrate preparation

1. Substrate requirements:

• The substrate should have a compressive strength of at least 25 MPa and a tensile strength of at least 1.5 MPa;
• Clean, free from water and other contaminants;
• Permissible humidity – up to 4%;
• The ideal substrate temperature during application should be between 10 ^o C and 25 ^o C;
• If higher moisture levels are suspected deep within the substrate, it is necessary to use an appropriate primer;
• Fresh concrete substrates should be cured for at least 3 weeks.
• The substrate should be absorbent and have a slightly rough structure, which will increase the adhesion of the finished product.

2. Priming:

• To ensure adequate reinforcement of the substrate, it is recommended to use solvent-based primers, e.g. Epoxol ^® Primer .
• In case of moisture in concrete exceeding 4%, it is recommended to use Neopox ^® Primer WS or Neopox ^® Primer AY if capillary action occurs.
• Before applying the proper layer of Kryptanate 100 LV, it is necessary to wait the time specified in the technical data sheet of the primer used.

Preparation of Kryptanate 100 LV:

• Kryptanate 100 LV is supplied in sets of 5 and 14 kg for the unpigmented version and 15 kg for the pigmented version.
• To avoid air entrapment in the product, mix component A with a low-speed mixer for approximately one minute or until the fillers are completely dissolved.
• Measure the appropriate amount of component A into another container, then add the appropriate amount of component B. Mix everything with a low-speed mixer for approximately 2 minutes. It is recommended to prepare the finished mixture for approximately 15 minutes of work to reduce potential losses resulting from the product curing in the container.

Kryptanate 100 LV Application:

• Previously prepared Kryptanate 100 LV can be applied with a roller or brush at up to 200 g/m² ⁱⁿ a single layer. One to three layers are recommended.
• For safety reasons, airless spraying is not recommended.
