TELPOX PM 150 epoxy primer with iron mica
Telpox PM 150 is an industrial, epoxy primer with iron mica. Contains zinc phosphate as an anti-corrosion pigment and the addition of iron mica, which provides barrier protection. It is an epoxy resin paint with a high solids content. The price and package size refer to the set (25 kg base + 3 kg hardener).
Telpox PM 150 - properties and applications

- due to the low content of diluents, suitable for indoor use,
- barrier protection with iron mica,
- ensures long service life of coatings,
- Due to the high solids content, the loss of coating thickness is minimal during drying.
For outdoor and indoor use in medium to highly corrosive environments. Steel structures, bridges, buildings, chemical plants, industrial areas, metal containers, metal pallets, containers, pipes.

Mixing proportions
The paint is a two-component product. The ingredients - base and hardener - must be mixed together before painting, maintaining the proportions. Hardening proportions: Telpox PM 150 base - 25 parts by weight: Telhard POX hardener - 3 parts by weight. The paint and hardener mixture should be used within 1 hour. a cup for mixing paints and varnishes to divide the paint into smaller portions .
Substrate preparation
- For C3 and C4 corrosive environments, the substrate must be blast cleaned to Sa 2 ½.
- Galvanized surfaces should be cleaned with water with ammonia or water with detergent.
- Previously painted surfaces should be removed, cleaned and degreased.
- For cleaning the substrate, we recommend a water solution of Emulsol RN-1 .
- Neodur Metalforce rust remover 24 hours before painting .
Painting
Examples of painting systems that can be built with Telpox PM 150 primer:
- One layer of Telpox PM 150 epoxy paint; the optimal thickness of one dry layer is 80-120 μm. Drying of 1 layer - 5 hours.
- Topcoats:
- Inside: 2 layers of two-component epoxy paint Telpox T 300 (80μm total)
- Outside: 2-3 dry layers of 40 μm of one of the polyurethane topcoats: Telpur T 300 or Telpur S 210 .
We recommend using a systemic thinner .
