TELPOX PM 150 epoxy primer with iron mica
Telpox PM 150 is an industrial epoxy primer with iron mica. It contains zinc phosphate as an anti-corrosion pigment and iron mica additive, which provides barrier protection. It is an epoxy resin-based paint with a high solids content. The price and package size are for a complete set (25kg base + 3kg hardener).
Telpox PM 150 - properties and applications

- due to the low content of solvents, suitable for indoor use,
- iron mica barrier protection,
- ensures long durability of coatings,
- Due to the high solids content, the loss of coating thickness during drying is minimal.
For outdoor and indoor applications in moderately to highly corrosive environments. Suitable for steel structures, bridges, buildings, chemical plants, industrial areas, metal containers, metal pallets, bins, and pipes.

Mixing ratio
The paint is a two-component product. The components—base and hardener—should be mixed together in the correct proportions before painting. Hardening ratio: Telpox PM 150 base—25 parts by weight: Telhard POX hardener—3 parts by weight. The paint-hardener mixture should be used within 1 hour. We recommend using a mixing cup .
Preparation of the substrate
- For C3 and C4 corrosive environments the substrate must be blast cleaned to Sa 2 ½.
- Galvanized surfaces should be cleaned with water and ammonia or water and detergent.
- Previously painted surfaces should be removed from old coatings, cleaned and degreased.
- For cleaning the substrate, we recommend an aqueous solution of Emulsol RN-1 .
- Neodur Metalforce rust remover 24 hours before painting .
Painting
Examples of painting systems that can be built with Telpox PM 150 primer:
- One layer of Telpox PM 150 epoxy paint; optimal dry layer thickness is 80-120 μm. Drying time of one layer - 5 hours.
- Topcoats:
- Inside: 2 layers of two-component epoxy paint Telpox T 300 (80μm total)
- Outside: 2-3 dry layers of 40 μm of one of the polyurethane topcoats: Telpur T 300 or Telpur S 210 .
