Glass microspheres are an addition to Bandax , giving it reflective properties. The balls can be mixed with paint immediately before painting or sprinkled onto a wet layer of paint. In the case of balls mixed with paint, the reflective effect will only be visible after some time, when the paint layer is naturally abraded by vehicle traffic. If you want an immediate effect, sprinkle additional microbeads on the wet layer of paint. The paint:microbeads ratio should be approximately 2:1 , which means that 2.5kg of microbeads are needed for a 5kg paint package. Microballs are available in two package sizes:
