Floortop 1K is a colorless polyurethane resin for use as a topcoat for flooring and terrace systems. Made on the basis of aliphatic isocyanines, it does not turn yellow under the influence of UV radiation. Creates a hard and flexible coating, resistant to abrasion, scratches and weather conditions. One-component product, creates a tight, water-tight coating.
The substrate must be even and there must be no gaps or cracks. Before starting work, the surface should be cleaned, degreased and dried. During work, the substrate temperature should be between 10°C and 30°C. Permissible substrate humidity < 4%, air humidity < 85%. Floortop 1K is applied with a roller, brush or airless spray. Apply 200 g/m2 in one layer (minimum two layers required). To obtain an anti-slip layer, apply a third layer at a consumption of 100 g/m 2 with 2.5% (by weight) Neotex Antiskid M. The additive should be mixed with liquid resin. Drying time is influenced by application conditions. Depending on temperature and humidity, the estimated drying time ranges from 2 to 3 hours. Apply the second layer only when the first one is no longer sticky. The technological break between applying subsequent layers should not be longer than 24 hours. If the recommended application conditions are met, pedestrian traffic can be allowed after 24-48 hours. The coating is fully hardened after 15 days. Strengthens cement mortars, can be used as a primer for water-based paint coatings, for repairing concrete structures or strengthening tile glue.
