FLOORTOP 1K flexible polyurethane varnish

Floortop 1K is a colorless polyurethane resin for use as a topcoat for flooring and decking systems. Formulated with aliphatic isocyanates, it does not yellow under UV radiation. It creates a hard and flexible coating that is resistant to abrasion, scratching, and weathering. This single-component product creates a tight, waterproof coating.

Aliphatic Resin Floortop 1K - APPLICATION

The substrate must be even, free of gaps and cracks. Before starting work, the surface must be cleaned, degreased, and dry. During work, the substrate temperature should be between 10°C and 30°C. Permissible substrate humidity < 4%, air < ​​85%. Floortop 1K is applied by roller, brush, or airless spray. Apply 200 g/m² per coat (minimum two coats required). To achieve an anti-slip layer, apply a third coat at a consumption of 100 g/m² ^with a 2.5% (by weight) addition of Neotex Antiskid M. The additive should be mixed with the liquid resin. Drying time is affected by application conditions. Depending on temperature and humidity, the estimated drying time ranges from 2 to 3 hours. Apply the second coat only when the first is no longer tacky. The waiting time between subsequent coats should not exceed 24 hours. When the recommended application conditions are met, foot traffic can be permitted after 24-48 hours. The coating will fully cure after 15 days.
