Wodnik chlorinated rubber paint for swimming pools is a one-component product for covering the surfaces of tanks and swimming pools. The paint creates a smooth, semi-matt coating.
For surface painting of swimming pools and ponds:
- new concrete swimming pools and ponds,
- for renovation of used swimming pools previously painted with Wodnik paint,
- for metal elements of swimming pool equipment after proper priming.
The paint can be used to paint surfaces flooded with water as well as surfaces above the water and around swimming pools. Before pouring water, the coating should be seasoned for 10 days.
System primers depending on the type of painted substrate
Depending on the needs and application method, use 2-3 layers of Wodnik paint. Concrete substrates - prime with a chemically resistant primer . Epoxol Putty epoxy putty 24 hours before painting. Do not use silicone preparations (including water glass) to seal the pool basin, as the paint coating loses adhesion. Steel substrates - for good protection against corrosion, prime the substrate with Lokor-2 anti-rust chlorinated rubber paint. If there is old paint on the substrate that adheres well, Wodnik paint can be applied directly, after washing the substrate.
The swimming pool coating obtained with Wodnik paint is:
- smooth, semi-matte, well covering,
- well adhesive to the ground,
- thermoplastic,
- quick drying.
Chlorinated rubber paint for the Wodnik swimming pool - properties:
- increases the resistance of the concrete pool structure to the corrosive effects of water and atmospheric factors,
- reduces surface absorption of concrete - reduces the possibility of getting the pool surface dirty (makes it easier to rinse off dirt with water),
- gives an aesthetic appearance.
Substrate preparation:
The substrate should be dry, dust-free and degreased (e.g. using Emulsol RN-1 ) . The paint has a PZH certificate , according to which the paint can be used for painting the external surfaces of concrete swimming pool structures, including renovation painting.
