Wodnik chlorinated rubber pool paint is a single-component product for coating the surfaces of swimming pools and reservoirs. The paint creates a smooth, semi-matte coating.
For surface painting of swimming pools and ponds:
- new concrete swimming pools and ponds,
- for the renovation of swimming pools in use, previously painted with Wodnik paint,
- for metal elements of swimming pool equipment after they have been properly primed.
The paint can be used on surfaces that are flooded with water, as well as above water and around swimming pools. Before submerging, the coating should be allowed to cure for 10 days.
System primers depending on the type of substrate being painted
Depending on your needs and application method, apply 2-3 coats of Wodnik paint. Concrete substrates – prime with a chemically resistant primer Epoxol Putty epoxy filler 24 hours before painting. Do not use silicone products (including water glass) to seal the pool basin, as this will cause the paint to lose its adhesion. Steel substrates – for good corrosion protection, prime the substrate with Lokor-2 chlorinated rubber anti-rust paint. If the substrate is old and adheres well, Wodnik paint can be applied directly after washing the surface.
The pool coating obtained with Wodnik paint is:
- smooth, semi-matte, good coverage,
- well adhered to the substrate,
- thermoplastic,
- quick-drying.
Chlorinated rubber paint for the Wodnik pool - properties:
- increases the resistance of the concrete structure of the pool to the corrosive effects of water and atmospheric factors,
- reduces the surface water absorption of concrete - reduces the possibility of soiling the pool surface (makes it easier to rinse dirt with water),
- gives an aesthetic appearance.
Preparation of the substrate:
The substrate should be dry, dust-free and degreased (e.g. using Emulsol RN-1 ). The paint has a PZH certificate , according to which the paint can be used for painting the external surfaces of concrete swimming pool structures, including renovation painting.
