Polyurethane varnish for concrete and bricks

An excellent protection and finishing layer for walls and facades covered with brick, natural stone, decorative concrete, etc. It can also be used as wall protection between kitchen cabinets if tiling is not desired. Neodur Varnish wall and brick varnish creates a smooth, easily washable surface. It is resistant to chemical cleaning agents, UV radiation, and weathering, and does not yellow.

Available finishing options:

• Neodur Varnish - glossy, solvent-based varnish - recommended for outdoor use and e.g. in bathrooms, due to the fact that the glossy version is fully waterproof. Dilute each layer 15-20% with Neotex 1021 thinner.
• Neodur Varnish Semi-matt - varnish with a semi-matt finish, also solvent-based - when used outdoors, the surface should be previously primed with a glossy varnish.
• Dilute each layer 25-30% with Neotex 1021 thinner.
• Neodur Varnish W Mat – a water-based, fully matte varnish. Dilute each coat 20-30% with tap water. For exterior concrete flooring, first protect the substrate with a glossy coating, such as Neodur Varnish Gloss or Neodur Special , and then apply two coats of Neodur Varnish W Matt.

Neodur Varnish wall varnish - surface preparation:

• Concrete, mineral substrates, walls, facades – varnish applied directly to porous surfaces (brick, concrete, sandstone, etc.) will create a "wet stone" effect (darkening the surface, in some places more, in others less, depending on the porosity). Priming the surface with Neodur Varnish PR will reduce this effect, but will still cause a color change. Only solvent-based varnishes can be applied directly, without primer.
• Painted metal, galvanized steel, aluminum (solvent-based versions only) - apply directly.
• Polyester (solvent-based versions only) - matt before painting.

• Can be used on various surfaces: bricks, plasters, concrete, natural stone, metals (including galvanized steel), polyester, all surfaces already painted with other paints
• High friction resistance
• Long-term resistance to weather conditions and UV radiation
• Resistant to fresh water, sea water, alkalis, chemical cleaning agents
• Perfect protection against scratches and color loss
• Impact resistant
• It is available in three finishes - gloss, semi-gloss and matte.
• Any application method - brush, roller, spray (painting accessories should be solvent-resistant)

Comments:

The substrate should be clean and free of dust, dirt, oil, and grease. Loose fragments of old paint should be removed mechanically or chemically. Paint adhesion problems may occur on substrates previously treated with silicone, wax, or other impregnating agents. Neodur Varnish is a two-component varnish (the price is for the set, i.e. the base with the hardener).
