What are alkyd paints?
Alkyd paints are among the most commonly used types of paint. Thanks to their production using readily available raw materials, they are inexpensive while maintaining appropriate properties—flexibility and weather resistance. They can be applied to metal, wood, concrete, and other mineral substrates.

What are alkyd enamels?
Alkyd enamels are varnishes that create durable coatings for use on metal, mineral, and wood surfaces. They are characterized by high resistance to atmospheric and mechanical factors. They are single-component, solvent-based products. These enamels can be used for interior and exterior painting. Alkyd topcoats do not contain anti-corrosive pigments, so the substrate should be primed with a system primer before applying them to metal.

Alkythane 7500 topcoat – alkyd-urethane enamel with a gloss finish. Available in the full RAL palette and in a heat-resistant version up to 200℃.
What are alkyd primers?
Alkyd primers are characterized by quick drying. They contain an active anti-corrosion pigment (zinc phosphate) , eliminating the need for a separate primer on steel substrates. They create coatings that adhere well to the substrate, are mechanically durable, flexible, and resistant to adverse weather conditions and other corrosive factors.

What are alkyd primers?
Alkyd primers, often called phthalic primers (due to their ingredient, phthalic anhydride), are high-quality primers that provide anti-corrosion protection for steel substrates. They can be used under both enamels and alkyd primer-enamels. They are characterized by fast drying and ease of application.
