Acrylic facade paint - purpose

Facade Paint is a water-based acrylic paint designed for painting building elements both indoors and outdoors . It is based on a water-based acrylic dispersion with added pigments, mineral fillers, and performance agents. It creates a uniform, well-covering, matt, snow-white coating (white version). It can be applied to a variety of building materials, such as plaster, concrete, bricks, drywall, paper wallpaper, and fiberglass, creating a durable, waterproof, and flexible coating. Lightly soiled surfaces can be wiped clean with a slightly damp cloth or sponge.

This facade paint protects the exterior walls of buildings from moisture absorption while allowing them to breathe. It gives interior surfaces an aesthetically pleasing and durable appearance, reducing soiling. It is available in a basic white color and can be tinted with high-quality pigments to a range of colors upon request.

Surface preparation and application:

Facade Paint is ready to use; only if it thickens, you can add up to 5% tap water. Chalk, lime, or other materials should never be added. The surface to be painted should be thoroughly cleaned, loose paint removed, and degreased. Old coats of adhesive and lime paints must be removed. Fresh cement-lime plaster can be painted no sooner than 4 weeks after application. Smooth surfaces should be roughened with sandpaper. Fill any cracks and holes with Pigment BIEL-PUTZ putty, larger ones with gypsum for interior use, and cement mortar for exterior use. Prime the substrate with Pigment BIELGRUNT acrylic primer.

Additional information:

For colors with less coverage, use the recommended primer. Do not use colors on facade surfaces that are not recommended for exterior use by the coloring system.

The best results can be achieved using the spray method. Traditional painting methods (roller, brush), improper tool selection, improper painting technique, and unfavorable conditions (temperature and relative humidity) can result in streaking with some colors. Individual batches of the product may differ slightly in shade from some colors available in the computer coloring system. To avoid noticeable differences, it is necessary to paint a surface that constitutes a separate architectural unit in a single work cycle, using products from the same production batch.

If you need to use products from different production batches, it is recommended to mix them to achieve a uniform shade. Any corrections should be made wet-on-wet. Before starting to paint, it is advisable to check the color consistency of all packages with the order.
