Acrylic facade paint - purpose

Facade Paint is a water-soluble acrylic paint intended for painting building elements both indoors and outdoors . It is based on a water acrylic dispersion with the addition of pigments, mineral fillers and refining agents. Creates a uniform, well-covering, matte snow-white coating (white version). It can be used on various building materials, such as plaster, concrete, bricks, plasterboards, paper and fiberglass wallpapers, creating a durable, waterproof and flexible coating. A slightly dirty paint surface can be washed with a slightly damp cloth or sponge.

The facade paint protects the external walls of buildings against moisture absorption, while not interfering with the so-called "breathing". It gives indoor surfaces an aesthetic and durable appearance, limiting their getting dirty. It is produced in a basic white color and, on request, can be dyed with high-quality pigments in a range of colors.

Surface preparation and application:

Facade Paint is a ready-to-use paint, only if it thickens, you can add up to 5% of tap water. Under no circumstances should chalk, lime or other materials be added. The surface to be painted should be thoroughly cleaned, loose paint flakes removed and degreased. Old adhesive and lime paint coatings must be removed. Fresh cement-lime plaster can be painted no earlier than 4 weeks after application. Matte smooth surfaces with sandpaper. Fill gaps and cracks with BIEL-PUTZ putty from Pigment, larger ones inside with plaster, outside with cement mortar. The substrate should be primed with BIELGRUNT acrylic preparation from Pigment.

Additional information:

For colors with lower coverage, use the recommended primer. Colors not recommended for outdoor use by the coloring system should not be used on facade surfaces.

The best results can be obtained using the spray method. With traditional painting methods (roller, brush), improper selection of tools, painting technique and unfavorable conditions (temperature and relative air humidity), streaks may appear in some colors. Individual batches of the product after coloring may differ slightly in shade in the case of some colors available in the computer coloring system. In order to avoid noticeable differences, it is necessary to create a surface constituting a separate architectural whole in one work cycle, using products from the same production batch.

If it is necessary to use products from different production batches, it is recommended to mix them together to uniform the shade. Any corrections should be made using the "wet on wet" method. Before you start painting with paint, it is advisable to check that the color in all packages matches the order placed.
