A-Graf is a waxy agent based on organic solvents designed to protect wall surfaces (indoors and outdoors) against graffiti and create a coating that makes it difficult to attach posters. The soft coating method is partially removed along with the paint used to create the inscriptions and drawings. Read the advice on our blog: How to apply anti-graffiti protection?
The protective layer allows for easy removal of contaminants from concrete surfaces, bricks, artificial and natural stones, and plasters. A wall coated with the preparation also discourages graffiti artists from painting, as it makes drawing difficult (lines blur, paint runs). An additional advantage of the preparation is that it extends the durability of plasters by isolating them from the influence of destructive factors such as moisture, moss, air pollution, and atmospheric factors. The A-Graf wax anti-graffiti preparation can be applied to surfaces such as stone, concrete, bricks, mineral plasters, and painted plasters after testing before application.
The product is ready to use. Surfaces to be protected should be dry, clean, and free of grease and dust. It should be applied by hand with a brush or cloth, and after diluting with white spirit (or equivalent) to a maximum of 20%, it can be applied by spray. It is recommended to apply the second coat after the first has dried for 1.5 hours. Ensure that the first coat has achieved adequate adhesion before applying the next one. Due to the variety of materials used in construction, it is always recommended to test the product before use. Colored plaster surfaces may darken slightly. Do not expose the product to sunlight or temperatures above +35°C. Do not use on damp surfaces.
From smooth surfaces: remove paint by simple brushing or with a cold, pressurized water jet. For more durable paints, first spray with detergent (e.g., A-Graf Remover ) and wait. From rough surfaces , remove with a pressurized water jet. In many cases, it may be necessary to use water at a temperature of +60-70°C. After this treatment, apply at least one more coat of A-Graf after the surface has thoroughly dried.
