Epimal 200 - application
It is recommended for painting concrete surfaces (e.g. floors, concrete structures, pillars, spans) and steel surfaces, directly or after priming with epoxy primer. It can also be used on other building materials, such as plaster, bricks, wood and wood-based materials (to a limited extent).
Epimal 200 - substrate preparation
- The substrate should be frost-free, load-bearing, clean, free of cement laitance, grease stains and dust.
- The surface to be renovated should be thoroughly dusted and degreased (especially traces of oil and grease), and cleaned of moss and lichen.
- Old peeling and cracked paint coatings must be removed.
- Fresh cement-lime plaster and concrete surfaces can be painted no earlier than 4 weeks after application.
- Matte smooth surfaces with sandpaper.
