EPIMAL G20 water-soluble epoxy primer

Water-soluble Epimal G20 primer is a two-component epoxy primer intended for covering porous building surfaces indoors. It is recommended for use under high-quality water-based epoxy paints. After drying, it gives a transparent layer. It can be used on various building materials, such as plaster, concrete, bricks, plaster, wood and wood-based materials, and plasterboards.

Water-soluble Epimal G20 primer - properties

• When used correctly, it increases the adhesion and uniformity of the absorbency and cohesion of the substrate.
• It is especially recommended for priming concrete elements, e.g. floors, surfaces of concrete structures (e.g. fences, terraces, pillars, spans).
• the product has a PZH certificate, according to which it can be used for painting building surfaces inside and outside residential premises.

Water-soluble Epimal G20 primer - surface preparation and application:

It is a ready-to-use primer after combining with a hardener, but if necessary, it can be diluted up to 5% with tap water. Do not mix with acrylic primers. The substrate should be load-bearing, clean, free of grease and dust. The surface to be renovated should be thoroughly dusted and degreased (especially traces of oils and grease, e.g. Sulfanol-A ), and cleaned of moss and lichen (using GrzyboStop ). Old peeling and cracked paint coatings must be removed. Fresh cement-lime plaster and concrete surfaces can be painted no earlier than 4 weeks after application. Fill gaps and cracks: inside rooms - with acrylic putty (e.g. Biel-Putz ) or plaster, outside and when repairing floors - with cement mortar or epoxy putties Epifil H-50 or Epoxol Putty . The painted surface may be slightly damp, but should not be wet. After adding the hardener to the soil, mix everything for 2 minutes. After mixing with the hardener, the primer should be used within 2 hours.

Comments:

• Before use, mix the primer thoroughly with the hardener. Do not change the recommended primer-hardener ratio. This may significantly reduce the hardness of the coating.
• Do not paint outdoors in strong sunlight or rain. Do not paint surfaces that are wet or hot, e.g. due to strong sunlight.
• The surface must be thoroughly cleaned. Particular attention should be paid to degreasing.
• Protect the fresh paint coat from precipitation until it is completely dry.
• Failure to follow these recommendations may result in paint peeling and loss of warranty.
• Before putting into operation, ventilate the room until the smell disappears.
• Protect against freezing.

Epimal G20 is a two-component primer (the price is for the set, i.e. the base with the hardener). To make it easier to combine the ingredients, we recommend a cup for mixing paints and varnishes (also useful for dividing the paint into smaller portions).
