TELPUR S 210 polyurethane primer

Telpur S 210 is a fast-drying polyurethane primer for industrial use. Available in small 2.2kg kits in the full RAL color range. It doesn't require a separate primer – it contains anti-corrosive pigments (zinc phosphate). It has a semi-matt finish.

Telpur S 210 is available in a semi-matt finish, in a 2.2 kg and 11 kg set. The price and package size are for the set (base + hardener). Check out the RAL color chart . RAL9006 and RAL9007 are metallic colors (light and dark aluminum). The color is custom-tinted to each customer's order, so we do not ship this product cash on delivery. Payment can be made via PayU or by traditional bank transfer at checkout.

Telpur S 210 - properties and applications

The coating is resistant to weathering, yellowing, moisture, and mechanical stress. The paint can be used as a primer or as an anti-corrosion polyurethane primer under a suitable topcoat (e.g., Telpur T 320 ).

• does not flow from vertical surfaces - thixotropic.

It can be used both indoors and outdoors, in areas with medium to high corrosive stress, such as chemical plants and industrial zones. It can also be used for painting machinery, pipes, steel structures, and advertising elements.

Mixing proportions

The paint is a two-component product. The components – base and hardener – should be mixed together in the correct proportions before painting. Hardening ratio: Telpur S 210 base – 10 parts by weight: Telhard PUR hardener – 1 part by weight. The paint and hardener mixture should be used within 3 hours (20°C)

Substrate preparation

• For C3 and C4 corrosive environments the substrate must be blast cleaned to Sa 2 ½.
• For a C1 corrosive environment, the substrate must be clean, dry and free from grease and rust, mechanically cleaned to St 2 - St 3.
• Galvanized surfaces should be cleaned with water with ammonia or water with detergent.
• Previously painted surfaces should be removed, cleaned and degreased.
• For cleaning the substrate, we recommend a water solution of Emulsol RN-1 .
• Neodur Metalforce rust remover 24 hours before painting .

Painting

• Apply 1-2 layers of Telpur S 210 paint so that the dry layer thickness after painting is at least 120 µm dry.
• If necessary, apply an additional layer or layers after the previous layer has dried for 24 hours, or after 20 minutes in the so-called "wet on wet" system.
