TELPOX S 200 epoxy industrial primer

Telpox S 200 is an epoxy industrial primer with a semi-matt finish. It does not require the use of a separate primer - it contains anti-corrosion pigments (zinc phosphate). The paint is intended for protective and anti-corrosion painting of steel surfaces and for protective painting of mineral surfaces, e.g. walls, which require resistance to washing. Good adhesion to zinc and aluminum. Coatings made with Telpox S 200 paint are resistant to numerous chemical substances, acids and alkalis, moisture, marine, urban and industrial atmosphere factors and mechanical damage, resistant to gasoline and diesel oil.

Telpox S 200 - available packaging, colors

Telpox S 200 is available in a semi-matt version (10 kg pack). The price and package size refer to the set (base + hardener). Sample prices and colors to choose from are visible on the website. If you need a different color according to the RAL palette, contact us at biuro@trokentech.pl , we will quote it for you. You can check the RAL color sample here . RAL9006 and RAL9007 are metallic colors (light and dark aluminum). The color is each time dyed specifically to the customer's order, therefore we do not send this product on delivery. When summarizing the order, you can pay via PayU or traditional transfer.

Telpox S 200 - properties and applications

  • 2-in-1 painting product - contains anti-corrosion pigments, does not require the use of a separate primer.

Interiors, e.g. metal tanks, oil and fuel tanks, pipelines, machinery, washable wall surfaces, production structures, galvanized and aluminum substrates.

Mixing proportions

The paint is a two-component product. The ingredients - base and hardener - must be mixed together before painting, maintaining the proportions. Hardening proportions: Telpox S 200 base - 8 parts by weight: Telhard POX hardener - 2 parts by weight. The paint is ready for use approximately 15 minutes after mixing with the hardener. The paint and hardener mixture should be used within 8 hours.

Substrate preparation

  • For C2, C3 and C4 corrosive environments, the substrate must be blast cleaned to Sa 2 ½.
  • For a C1 corrosive environment, the substrate must be clean, dry and free from grease and rust, mechanically cleaned to St 2 - St 3.
  • Galvanized surfaces should be cleaned with water with ammonia or water with detergent.
  • Previously painted surfaces should be removed, cleaned and degreased.
  • For cleaning the substrate, we recommend a water solution of Emulsol RN-1 .
  • Neodur Metalforce rust remover 24 hours before painting .
  • Mineral substrates should mature 30 days before painting. They should be consistent, free of dust, grease and other impurities.

Painting

  • Apply 1-2 layers of two-component epoxy paint Telpox S 200. The second spray can be applied after 24 hours. drying (20°C). The drying and hardening of the coating can be accelerated by drying at a temperature of 60 - 100°C for 30 - 60 minutes. The final dry layer thickness must be at least 120 μm.
  • The mineral substrate should be primed by diluting the first layer of paint with Telsol POX in a 1:2 ratio.

Optimum layer thickness

  • C3 environment: 120μm dry - durability up to 5 years; 160μm dry - durability up to 10 years
  • C4 environment: 160μm dry - durability up to 5 years; 240 μm dry - durability up to 10 years
  • The optimal layer thickness on a mineral substrate is 120 μm dry
