SILANIT 100 for damp fresh plasters

Silanit 100 is a mineral-quartz paint for painting facades and damp interiors of buildings.

Silanit 100 mineral paint - intended use

• For painting cement, cement-lime plasters, bricks and concrete,
• The main area of ​​application of the paint is building facades covered with mineral plasters, but it can also be used indoors regardless of the degree of moisture,
• Due to its ability to harden when exposed to moisture, it can be used with excellent results to renovate old damp buildings, including historic ones.

Silanit 100 mineral facade paint - properties

• After drying, it provides a very well-covering, matt coating with high resistance to atmospheric factors, resistant to washing with pressurized water,
• The paint contains mineral binders, redispersible polymers, pigments resistant to light and weather conditions, specially selected mineral fillers and refining and modifying agents,
• It does not hinder the mortar maturing process, so it can be used just 24 hours after applying the mineral plaster,
• Due to its high diffusion properties, similar to silicate paints, it has been approved by standards (as one of the few paints) for use in construction on fresh, insufficiently carbonized mineral plasters , without the need for flatting,
• Unlike silicate paints, it can be used on gypsum and gypsum-lime plasters,
• The paint's hydrophobic ingredients protect exterior building walls from absorbing moisture without impeding the "breathing" process
• It has a PZH certificate - a product intended for painting the exterior surfaces of buildings and the interiors of residential, public, health service, warehouse and production premises, including the food industry (without direct contact with food).

Surface preparation and application

• Fresh plaster does not require special surface preparation. Only for higher aesthetic requirements or for colored paint can priming with Sil-Grunt .
• The surface to be renovated should be thoroughly dusted, cleaned, and degreased. In particular, traces of formwork oil should be removed. Lime, emulsion, and oil paints should be removed from the wall surface. Any mold should be eliminated using chemicals such as GrzyboStop .
• Fill any gaps and cracks with cement mortar or cement plaster,
• Before painting with Silanit 100 paint, wet the plaster by spraying the surface evenly with water and wait a few minutes for it to absorb,
• Do not prime with polymer (emulsion) preparations, e.g. acrylic,
• Do not use on polymer emulsion paints and plasters (e.g. acrylic).

The paint comes in powder form. Slowly pour the contents of the package into the measured amount of water, stirring vigorously with a mechanical mixer (e.g., a mixer mounted on a drill) until a uniform consistency is achieved.
