REVINEX primer and additive for cement mixtures

Revinex is a universal, copolymer formulation specifically designed to enhance the properties of cement mortars, plasters, concrete substrates, etc. A 15% Revinex addition (by weight of cement) reduces mixing water by 25%. An 11mm thick mortar, made in a ratio of 1 part cement to 3 parts sand, with the addition of ~7.5 liters of Revinex per 50 kg of cement, was subjected to the pressure of a 30-meter column of water for 10 weeks, achieving complete watertightness in the test.

Revinex concrete additive - range of applications:

Primer for water-based paint coatings. Neoroof and Neoproof PU W-40 elastomeric roofing membranes , and cementitious waterproofing systems. Mixing ratio: 1kg of Revinex per 3-4kg of water, theoretical consumption per m² ^: 40-60 grams of Revinex mixed with 120-240g of water.
Enhances cementitious waterproofing mixtures, e.g., Neopress Crystal. Waterproofs basements, underground parts of walls, and swimming pools (under tiles), increasing resistance to positive and negative hydrostatic pressure. 4kg of Revinex, 4kg of water, 25kg of Neopress Crystal .
Plasters. Creates waterproof, durable, and crack-resistant plaster. 1-3kg of Revinex / 50kg of cement. For plasters, we recommend Gavazzi fiberglass mesh.
Waterproof cementitious mortars Creating slopes, filling holes, grooves, and crevices. 3-10kg Revinex / 50kg cement.
Protective mass for reinforcement Creating a protective, cementitious mass, applied by brush, to cover reinforcement. 1kg Revinex / 2-3kg cement. Apply in two layers.
Repairing damaged concrete structures Enriching Neorep mortar for concrete repair. 1-2kg Revinex / 25kg Neorep + water addition.
Slurry mortar Bonding old concrete to new concrete. Proportion (by volume): 1 part cement : 1 part 0.1-0.3mm sand : 0.5-1 part Revinex.
Concrete floor screeds Industrial flooring with increased mechanical and chemical resistance. 5-10kg Revinex / 50kg cement.
Cement primer : Improves the adhesion of plasters and mortars to the substrate. 7-10kg Revinex / 50kg cement.
Strengthens tile adhesive . Increases the adhesion, water impermeability, and elasticity of tile adhesive in rooms exposed to moisture (swimming pools, bathrooms, kitchens). 1-2kg Revinex / 25kg tile adhesive. For thin layers of screeds/mortars, a higher Revinex addition is recommended (from the upper range given in the table above). Portland cement is compatible with Revinex®. The cement should be fresh and free of lumps.

The addition of Revinex to cement-based mixtures results in:

• Increased adhesion on any substrate
• Possibility of applying thick layers at once
• Lower water to cement ratio while maintaining adequate workability of the mixture
• Increased abrasion resistance, which prevents dust from forming on the floors
• Resistance to shrinkage and expansion, thus reducing the risk of cracking
• Greater resistance to bending and stretching
• Increased frost resistance
• Improves the chemical resistance of mortars to greases, oils, and diluted acids
