VINYFIX PRIMER plaster strengthening primer
Vinyfix Primer is a colorless product for sealing and stabilizing substrates through impregnation. Suitable for new and old surfaces such as mortar, plaster, concrete, and gypsum. It can also be used as a primer for non-ferrous metals and galvanized steel. Suitable for interior and exterior use.
Vinyfix Primer plaster strengthening primer - properties
- The plaster strengthening agent is easy to apply, penetrates the substrate deeply, dries quickly and strengthens the substrate,
- Extremely effective on old plasters – binds the remains of old paint, creating an ideal base for new coatings,
- Resistant to the alkaline reaction of building substrates,
- It can be used before applying water-based wall or facade paints, e.g. Silicone Paint,
- Stabilizes old plasters and limits their dusting and crumbling,
- It can also be used as a primer for galvanized steel and aluminum, so there is no need to buy a separate primer for repainting these surfaces (e.g. external window sills, gutters, sheet metal flashings, also coated and painted).
Wear
- On mineral substrates (plaster, gypsum, bricks, etc.) - 0.13 - 0.17 kg/m2 - apply undiluted. For very absorbent/unstable substrates, apply two coats.
- On metal substrates (galvanized, aluminum) - 0.06 - 0.08 kg/m 2 - dilute 10% with Neotex 1080 .
