NEODUR VARNISH polyurethane floor varnish

A two-component, solvent-based, colorless polyurethane floor varnish for floor protection. Cured with aliphatic polyisocyanate, it exhibits excellent UV resistance and is suitable for outdoor use. It does not yellow or lose its gloss, even after many years. Neodur Varnish polyurethane floor varnish exhibits high chemical and mechanical resistance (diluted acids, alkalis) and very good adhesion (even to difficult substrates such as polyester). It is excellent for protecting all types of floors, both concrete and those already coated with floor paints. It provides an aesthetic and durable colorless finish, protecting the floor from scratching and discoloration.

Available finishing options:

• Neodur Varnish – a glossy, solvent-based varnish – recommended for outdoor use and in bathrooms, for example, as the glossy version is completely waterproof. Dilute each coat 15-20% with Neotex 1021 thinner.
• Neodur Varnish Semi-Matte - a solvent-based, semi-matte varnish. For outdoor use, the substrate should be primed with a gloss varnish. Each coat should be diluted 25-30% with Neotex 1021 thinner.

Neodur Varnish polyurethane floor varnish - substrate preparation:

• Concrete and mineral substrates - varnish applied directly to porous substrates (brick, concrete, sandstone, etc.) will create a "wet stone" effect (it will darken the substrate, in some places more, in others less, depending on the porosity). Priming the substrate with Neodur Varnish PR will reduce this effect, but will still cause a color change.
• Flooring resins - when used as a topcoat, they can be applied directly after matting the resin.
• Polyester - matt before painting
