Neotextile NP needle-punched polyester nonwoven fabric with a density of 100 gr/m2 for use as reinforcement for waterproof polyurea coatings from the Neoproof Polyurea line.
Application: The nonwoven fabric is applied as part of a paint system for sealing roofs covered with felt, to reinforce the substrate and extend the durability of the coating. It is essential when cracks larger than 1.5 mm are present in the substrate. The nonwoven fabric is also used for gluing into vertical/horizontal joints (e.g., chimneys) and for bonding various materials, such as sheet metal flashings to felt. It can be applied locally; there is no need to apply it across the entire roof.
