NEOPRESS CRYSTAL crystalline sealing mortar

Neopress Crystal is a crystalline cement mortar for waterproofing concrete substrates. Perfect for water tanks, wells, silos, basements and as insulation under tiles. It penetrates the substrate and reacts with moisture, creating insoluble crystals that fill and close the pores in the substrate, ensuring full water tightness. Resistant to negative hydrostatic pressure.

Neopress Crystal - instructions for use:

Preparation of the substrate: the substrate should be clean, free of dust, grease, oily dirt, poorly adhering coatings and must be sufficiently moist.
The substrate should be prepared by pressure washing and sandblasting/shot blasting to remove cement laitance and obtain an open-pore structure. Preparation of the mixture: gradually add 25 kg of Neopress Crystal to 7-7.5 kg of water and mix at low speed with a mechanical mixer until a homogeneous mass without lumps is obtained. To obtain an elastic mass, dilute 4 kg of Revinex with 4 kg of water and gradually add 25 kg of Neopress Crystal to the mixture.
Application: apply with a brush in two layers. After the first layer has dried for 4-6 hours (depending on the air temperature and humidity), apply the second layer crosswise to the first one. The first coat should be wet enough to ensure good adhesion and bonding to the second coat. If the ambient temperature is high, it is recommended to moisten the layer after application to avoid cracks.
