NEOPRESS CRYSTAL crystalline sealing mortar

Neopress Crystal is a crystalline, cement-based mortar for waterproofing concrete substrates. Ideal for water tanks, wells, silos, basements, and as insulation under tiles. It penetrates the substrate and reacts with moisture to form insoluble crystals that fill and seal pores in the substrate, ensuring complete watertightness. Resistant to negative hydrostatic pressure.

• It is resistant to negative and positive hydrostatic pressure and seals capillary cracks up to 0.4 mm
• Remains reactive in case water appears in the ground in the future
• Dry layer thickness 1.65 mm for a consumption of 2.2 kg/m²

Neopress Crystal - instructions for use:

Substrate preparation: The substrate should be clean, free of dust, grease, oily dirt, and poorly adhering coatings, and sufficiently moist. The substrate should be prepared by pressure washing and sandblasting/shot-blasting to remove cement laitance and obtain an open-pore structure.
Mixing: Gradually add 25kg of Neopress Crystal to 7-7.5kg of water and mix at low speed with a mechanical mixer until a homogeneous, lump-free mass is obtained. To obtain a flexible mass, dilute 4kg of Revinex with 4kg of water and gradually add 25kg of Neopress Crystal to this mixture.
Application: Apply two layers with a brush. After the first layer has dried for 4-6 hours (depending on temperature and humidity), apply the second layer crosswise to the first. The first layer should be sufficiently moist to ensure good adhesion and bonding with the second layer. If the ambient temperature is high, it is recommended to moisten the layer after application to prevent cracking.
