Chlorinated rubbers are products intended for both indoor and outdoor use, except in chemically aggressive environments. They are suitable for coating steel and cast iron surfaces to protect against corrosion . They are also used for decorative purposes and to protect wood, for example, from aging.

Can chlorinated rubber paint be painted with a spray gun?

For air-spray application, dilution is typically 5 to 10%, while for airless spray application, dilution is 0 to 3%. The dilution rate depends on factors such as ambient temperature and the product itself.
Can chlorinated rubber paint be used on galvanized steel?
keyboard_arrow_down keyboard_arrow_upIt depends on the product, but generally not. We recommend using polyvinyl or polyurethane paints on galvanized steel, especially for roofs or fences. They will last much longer than chlorinated rubber paints, which, despite their name, are not flexible.
What solvent should I use?

If for any reason you need to purchase a different solvent, it's important to ensure it's labeled as intended for chlorinated rubber paints, and it's a good idea to test it before final painting. We don't recommend adding general-purpose solvents.
