Yes, chlorinated rubber paints can be applied by spray. Information on spray settings and required paint dilution is always included in the product data sheet. For air-spray application, dilution is typically 5 to 10%, while for airless spray application, dilution is 0 to 3%. The dilution rate depends on factors such as ambient temperature and the product itself.
It depends on the product, but generally not. We recommend using polyvinyl or polyurethane paints on galvanized steel, especially for roofs or fences. They will last much longer than chlorinated rubber paints, which, despite their name, are not flexible.
It's best to always use system solvents from the same manufacturer. If for any reason you need to purchase a different solvent, it's important to ensure it's labeled as intended for chlorinated rubber paints, and it's a good idea to test it before final painting. We don't recommend adding general-purpose solvents.
