Kryptanate 100 Flex polyaspartic resin

Kryptanate 100 Flex is a polyaspartic varnish whose working time falls between standard polyurea-based systems and polyurethane-based systems. Extending the working time of the ready-mix mixture to up to 25 minutes at room temperature allows for manual application. As a solvent-free product, it allows for thicker layers, up to 500 g/m² ^, applied in a single coat. Curing time is significantly shorter than with traditional polyurethane-based varnishes. Additionally, Kryptanate 100 Flex can be used to seal colored sands.

Kryptanate 100 Flex – properties:

• Excellent resistance: Kryptanate 100 Flex is highly resistant to a wide range of chemicals, such as traditional fuels, aviation fuel, and concentrated alkalis. Additionally, it has excellent resistance to weather and temperature conditions, making it suitable for use in refrigerated storage.
• Speed ​​of application: thanks to rapid polymerization, the applied coating is dry to the touch after just 75 minutes at 21 ^° C! It's worth mentioning that Kryptanate 100 Flex can be applied in layers ranging from 200 to 500 g/m² ^, significantly reducing renovation time.
• UV resistance: due to the aliphatic structure of the resin, the finished product is resistant to UV rays and weather conditions, which translates into no yellowing effect.
• Cleanliness: easy to keep clean with traditional water washing.

Substrate preparation

1. Substrate requirements:

• The substrate should have a minimum tensile strength of 1.5 MPA and a minimum compressive strength of 25 MPA;
• Clean, free from water and other contaminants;
• Permissible humidity – up to 4%;
• The ideal substrate temperature during application should be between 10 ^o C and 25 ^o C;
• If higher moisture levels are suspected deep within the substrate, it is necessary to use an appropriate primer;
• Fresh concrete substrates should be cured for at least 3 weeks.
• The substrate should be absorbent and have a slightly rough structure, which will increase the adhesion of the finished product.

Preparation of Kryptanate 100 Flex:

• Kryptanate 100 Flex is available in two variants: 4 kg and 11 kg.
• In the first step, mix component A using a low-speed mixer, being careful not to incorporate air into the product. This will allow the fillers to dissolve completely.
• Next, measure the appropriate amount of component A into another container to prepare the finished product in a quantity that can be applied within the pot life of the mixture. Next, add the appropriate amount of component B. Mix again with a low-speed mixer for approximately 2 minutes. It is recommended to prepare the finished mixture for approximately 15 minutes of work to reduce potential losses resulting from the end of the pot life.

Kryptanate 100 Flex Application:

• The prepared Kryptanate 100 Flex mixture can be applied with a roller or brush from 200 g/m2 to 500 g/m2 in one layer on a previously prepared substrate.
• For safety reasons, airless spraying is not recommended.
