KLB-System Polyurethan PU 806 E matte polyurethane varnish

KLB PU 806 E is an environmentally friendly, two-component polyurethane varnish. The product is highly resistant to UV radiation and has been tested and accredited according to AgBB. Designed to protect coatings, creating a matte surface on polyurethane and epoxy resin floors.

• Substrate preparation

The substrate must be even, dry and dust-free. It should also not have any weakly bonded coatings and it is important that it is resistant to stretching and compression. Before painting, the surface must be mechanically prepared. Grease, oil and paint residues should be removed using appropriate tools. It is important that the surface is completely prepared and pore-free. It is recommended to use a leveling layer to create a smooth resin surface.

Application of KLB PU 806 E polyurethane varnish

KLB PU 806 E polyurethane varnish should be applied using a rubber trowel or a lint-free velvet roller. Apply the product immediately after preparation. The working area should be appropriately separated to avoid accidental application of several layers on the same resin floor surface. When applying the product to larger surfaces, it is recommended to work with more people. Always work wet on wet and avoid downtime.

The temperature of the substrate and the surroundings cannot fall below 10 °C and the humidity cannot exceed 75%. The specified conditions must also be maintained during the drying and hardening of the coating.

The varnish must always be applied in the same color as the base coat. In the case of some shades (especially white, yellow, orange or light pastel shades), a sufficiently thick layer of the product should be applied so that the color covers the floor surface well.
