KLB-System Polyurethan PU 420

KLB PU 420 is polyurethane resin for decorative floors. Perfect for places where increased flexibility is necessary. The coating has self-leveling and smoothing properties.

Properties of the KLB PU 420 resin coating:

Please note that the KLB PU 420 polyurethane coating is not resistant to UV radiation and may turn yellow over time. KLB PU806E varnish should be applied to the coating , which will protect the resin surface against UV radiation and thus against yellowing of the coating.

Application of KLB PU 420 coating

• The KLB PU 420 resin coating is intended for recreational rooms,
• Suitable for rooms with medium mechanical load, including: production areas, warehouses in economic sectors,
• Perfect for usable surfaces with mechanical load and low exposure to chemicals and water,
• The product can also be used on substrates susceptible to deformation (mastic asphalt, metal, wooden and mixed substrates).

The resin can be used with quartz sand , which will provide an anti-slip effect.

Wide range of colors

The KLB resin coating is available in standard RAL colors available in shades 7040 and 7035. Other RAL colors are colored according to special order , which allows the coating color to be adjusted to individual needs and requirements.

Subsoil

The substrate should be dry, even and dust-free. Additionally, it is resistant to stretching and compression, and free from poorly bonded coatings. Materials such as grease, oil and paint residues must be removed using appropriate means. The substrate must be prepared mechanically before painting. It is important that the surface is thoroughly primed and pore-free. It is recommended to apply a leveling layer to obtain a smooth resin surface.

Product application

Polyurethane resin coating should be used immediately after mixing the ingredients. The product should be spread evenly using a putty or notched trowel . Additionally, despite the self-venting nature of the coating, it is recommended to roll the surface with a spiked roller to improve the adhesion of the product to the substrate and remove air bubbles. Rolling should be done 10-20 minutes after pouring the resin coating.
