KLB-System Polyurethan PU 420

KLB PU 420 is polyurethane resin for decorative floors. Perfect for areas requiring increased flexibility. The coating has self-leveling and smoothing properties.

Properties of the KLB PU 420 resin coating:

• Can be used with quartz sand.

Please note that the KLB PU 420 polyurethane coating is not UV-resistant and may yellow over time. KLB PU806E to protect the resin surface from UV radiation and thus prevent yellowing of the coating.

Application of the KLB PU 420 coating

• The KLB PU 420 resin coating is intended for recreational rooms,
• Suitable for utility rooms with medium mechanical load, including production areas, warehouses in economic sectors,
• Perfect for surfaces with mechanical stress and low exposure to chemicals and water,
• The product can also be used on substrates susceptible to deformation (mastic asphalt, metal, wooden and mixed substrates).

The resin can be used with quartz sand , which will provide an anti-slip effect.

Wide range of colors

The KLB resin coating is available in standard RAL colors in shades 7040 and 7035. Other RAL colors are tinted to special orders , allowing the coating color to be tailored to individual needs and requirements.

Subsoil

The substrate should be dry, even, and dust-free. It should also be resistant to tension and compression, and free of loosely bonded coatings. Materials such as grease, oil, and paint residue should be removed using appropriate means. The substrate should be mechanically prepared before painting. It is important that the surface is thoroughly primed and pore-free. Applying a leveling layer is recommended to achieve a smooth resin surface.

Product application

The polyurethane resin coating should be used immediately after mixing the components. The product should be spread evenly using a spatula or notched trowel . Additionally, although the coating is designed to be self-venting, it is recommended to roll the surface with a spiked roller to improve the product's adhesion to the substrate and remove air bubbles. Rolling should be performed 10-20 minutes after pouring the resin coating.
