TELPOX P 100 industrial epoxy primer
Telpox P 100 is an industrial, anti-corrosion epoxy primer for steel. Perfectly protects steel against corrosion, contains zinc phosphate as an anti-corrosion pigment. With a thickness of 120µm, it can be used as an independent coating (primer enamel) indoors. The given price is for the base + hardener set (10 kg + 2 x 0.85 kg = 11.7 kg)

Mixing proportions
The paint is a two-component product. The ingredients - base and hardener - must be mixed together before painting, maintaining the proportions. Hardening proportions: Telpox P 100 base - 100 parts by weight: Telhard POX hardener - 17 parts by weight. The paint is ready for use approximately 20 minutes after mixing with the hardener. The paint and hardener mixture should be used within 8 hours.
Substrate preparation
- For C2 and C3 corrosive environments, the substrate must be blast cleaned to Sa 2 ½.
- For a C1 corrosive environment, the substrate must be clean, dry and free from grease and rust, mechanically cleaned to St 2 - St 3.
- Galvanized surfaces should be cleaned with water with ammonia or water with detergent.
- Previously painted surfaces should be removed, cleaned and degreased.
- For cleaning the substrate, we recommend a water solution of Emulsol RN-1 .
- Neodur Metalforce rust remover 24 hours before painting .
Painting
Examples of painting systems that can be built with the Telpox P 100 primer:
- One layer of two-component epoxy paint Telpox P 100.
- If necessary, the second layer can be applied after 24 hours of drying (20°C). The drying and hardening of the coating can be accelerated at a temperature of 60 - 100°C for 30-60 minutes.
- Topcoats:
- Inside: 1-2 layers of two-component epoxy paint Telpox T 300
- Outside: 2-3 layers of one of the polyurethane topcoats: Telpur T 300 , Telpur S 210E or polyvinyl paints, e.g. Telkyd S 220 .
We recommend using a systemic thinner .
