Grunder SK is a silicate primer used before applying silicate plaster or painting with silicate (silicate) paint . Intended for use on various building materials, such as: mineral and polymer plasters (e.g. acrylic), concrete, brick walls.
Used to strengthen the surface before painting, it ensures very good adhesion and color stabilization. It creates a layer characterized by very high vapor permeability, ensuring free penetration of water vapor and release of moisture. A product based on water glass and water, facilitating the application of silicate facade paint on concrete and plastered surfaces.
Grunder SK is a ready-to-use preparation. It must not be mixed with other materials or thickened. Mix the contents of the packages thoroughly before use. The substrate should be dry and free from dust, dirt, oil, grease and wax. All loose layers that are not properly bonded to the substrate should be removed before applying the primer. Paint with a roller, brush or spray. Glue and lime paints must be removed. Fresh cement-lime plaster can be painted no earlier than 3-4 weeks after application. It is best to fill holes and cracks with cement mortar. Paint or plaster can be applied 24 hours after priming.
