Primer for silicate paints

Grunder SK is a silicate primer used before applying silicate plaster or painting with silicate (silicate) paint . It is designed for use on a variety of building materials, including mineral and polymer plasters (e.g., acrylic), concrete, and brick walls.

Grunder SK silicate primer - properties:

• unifies the absorbency and cohesion of the substrate

• recommended especially for poorly bonded, absorbent, old and dirty substrates

Used to strengthen surfaces prior to painting, it ensures excellent adhesion and color stabilization. It creates a layer characterized by very high vapor permeability, ensuring the free passage of water vapor and the release of moisture. A water-based agent based on water glass and water, it facilitates the application of silicate facade paint on concrete and plastered surfaces.

Grunder SK - use:

Grunder SK is a ready-to-use product. It must not be mixed with other materials or thickened. Stir the contents of the packages thoroughly before use. The substrate should be dry and free of dust, dirt, oil, grease, and wax. All loose, unbound layers should be removed before applying the primer. Apply with a roller, brush, or spray. Any adhesive or lime paints must be removed. Fresh cement-lime plaster can be painted no sooner than 3-4 weeks after application. It is best to fill any gaps and cracks with cement mortar. Paint or plaster can be applied 24 hours after priming.
