EPOXY RO5500 epoxy enamel
RO5500 is an epoxy finishing enamel. It provides excellent protection for walls, floors, tanks, sorting tables, and all surfaces. The RO5500 paint coating is characterized by high chemical resistance and easy cleaning . It creates a tile-like finish, resistant to oils, acids, alkalis, vegetable and animal fats, and typical cleaning agents used in industrial and production halls. RO5500 epoxy has a dry thickness of up to 150 microns in a single coat. It can be applied to a variety of substrates (read about system primers below). This product is not available for cash on delivery. Payment can be made via PayU or by traditional bank transfer at checkout.
Food grade epoxy RO5500 - properties:
- Solvent-free epoxy resin - does not emit any unpleasant odor during application
- With the use of an appropriate primer, the paint can be applied to a variety of surfaces, including tiles, concrete, steel and non-ferrous metals
- Up to 150 microns dry in one layer
- 100% solids content - wet layer thickness is equal to dry layer thickness
- PZH certificate for direct contact with drinking water
- Resistant to immersion
- Resistant to frequent cleaning with chemicals
- Easy to clean - tile-like finish, high gloss
Recommended primers for food contact epoxy RO5500, depending on the type of substrate:
- Tiles and very smooth, non-porous concrete - RO3333
- Porous, mineral substrates - epoxy primer Epimal G20 or RO5401
- Fresh (minimum 2 weeks) and damp concrete - Neopox Primer WS
- Steel - Epimal Stal
- Non-ferrous metals - Neotex Inox Primer
- Previously painted surfaces - if the old paint adheres well, you can paint directly; in the case of high-gloss paints, we recommend mattifying the surface
Food grade epoxy RO5500 - other applications:
- Pools and tanks (including drinking water)
- Floors in industrial and production halls
RO5500 is a two-component paint (the price is for a complete set, i.e., a base coat and a hardener). To make mixing the components easier, we recommend a Mixing Cup for Paints and Varnishes (also useful for dividing the paint into smaller portions).
