FLAME STAL quick-drying fire retardant paint
Flame Stal Fire Proof Solvent is an intumescent fireproof paint designed to provide fire protection for steel and galvanized steel structures against the thermal impact of standard fires according to PN-EN 1363-1:2012. Fireproofed components can be used indoors and outdoors under Z1, Z2, X, and Y environmental conditions, and in various environmental corrosivity categories from C1 to C5. Steel or galvanized steel components protected with Flame Stal Fire Proof Solvent are classified in fire resistance classes from R-15 to R-60 according to PN-EN 13501-2+A1.

Flame Steel - performance:
The performance of fire retardant paints depends on the cross-sectional mass factor. The mass factor is expressed in units of 1/m. It defines the ratio of the perimeter of the profile exposed to fire to its cross-sectional area. Based on this and the relevant tables in European Technical Approval ETA-20/0957, the thickness of the fire retardant paint coating should be selected.
System:
According to the technical approval, the paint is applied in a three-coat system: primer, Flame Stal, and topcoat. System solvent for Flame Stal paint: Piroixonol PT .
